So, I've already been diagnosed with my concentration and memory issues due to my anxiety disorder, but there's still a persistent problem that my mother seems to have overlooked. See, for maybe two years now my handwriting has just gotten worse and worse where, at times, it resembles a heart monitor. It sucks because my work is extremely difficult for my teachers to read (I can't even translate it half the time) and so they end up either a) giving me the benefit of the doubt, b) having me rewrite it (again, half the time it's just as bad--if not worse--than before), or c) make me type it out. I can't always type though, and I'd like to have better handwriting. Is there anything I can do? Even when I slow down to one letter every few seconds, my hand doesn't do what my brain says, so my s's end up being backwards sometimes and my b's and d's look the same it's just a mess. I was wondering if there's a reason for this or if my English teacher could possibly help me out (I'm afraid to ask) or if there are any solutions?

So, I don't have much money. Are khakis and a plaid shirt acceptable to wear to homecoming? I don't think this would upset my date, but is it acceptable?

Does it just make you mad when (or if) your teachers use words like "goofy" and "silly"? Like, my biology teacher last year would always use the word "goofy" when describing things and talk to us like young kids. And then my modern American history teacher this year said that he couldn't tell us our thoughts were wrong, as said that well he could, and then he said, "Yeah, but that would be kind of silly" even though this weird girl Kirsten I don't talk to anymore showed me his Facebook profile and he's cussing up a storm on some of the public photos available. So, my point is, do you, my fellow teens, find it annoying when teachers use these kiddie words when talking to us?

So, at first it was my fault and it got squished and the back cover ripped off and it was still fixable and he was cool about it, and I went home to show my mom. I should have put the thing in my backpack, but instead left it out on the table. When my little sister got mad at me, she ripped pages out and I can't find them! I'm boned. What do I do? I'm having anxiety about showing the book to him. Oh, God, what do I do?

So, do you feel the good kids who do their work and pay attention get all the attention, do you feel that the kids with certain problems (depression, ADHD, etc) get all the attention, or do you feel that the troublemakers get all the attention? I'm really curious because my freinds and I were discussing this today. So, what do you think?

I have only read the first book so far, so I'm only wondering about characters such as Thomas, Newt, Gally, etc. I just want to know if they ever find out what their actual names are.

So I'm fifteen, talked with my med management doctor, and she's getting me a referral to the psychologists at the place I go to for possible ADD or learning disability or something. But the psychologists are swamped until the end of the summer. Do you think a school psychologist could evaluate me? I'm too impatient and anxious for results to wait for the end of the summer.

I have the worst memory, I can't remember anything in math no matter how many times I'm taught or how simple it is, I get easily frustrated with my schoolwork, my handwriting is so bad that no one (including myself) can read it even when I write as slow as possible, I grip my writing utensils awkwardly and different than everyone else, and when my mom asks me to do a small list of things or explains where something is in the house that she needs me to go get I have to ask her to repeat herself multiple times because I can't, like, understand what she's asking of me. I'm not stupid—everyone I know (including my teachers) tell me how smart I am. I used to get straight A's but now I just suck. I'm starting to doubt that I'm intelligent at all. Am I just stupid, is there something to explain this, or is it just bad luck or something? It's been getting worse I think. I'm fifteen, if that helps.

Like, in a community, what do they do? Do they keep you safe from, say, bullies? How do they do this? I just want to know if I truly understand this.

So, I'm a freshman right now and we're starting to register for our sophomore classes. Right now I'm set on either doing game design or on being a journalist. Firstly, can I take classes for both? Like, some classes for game design and others for like writing and journalism and stuff? Next, what classes should I take for game design? I'm already going to be taking game design and advanced game design in either sophomore and junior years or junior and senior years. What else should I take? Computer animation maybe? What about journalism? Writing classes, yeah, but what kind? There's just so many classes my school offers that I don't know what to take.

She is four, yes, but she is unlike any other four year old. She is constantly beating on me, my siblings, kids at school, for sure my mother, and anyone really. She likes growling at you when she is angry. She is very mean to animals. When she beats on people she isn't sorry about it at all; she actually smiles and enjoys it. At the store, she will shout and scream when all the other little kids there never do this. She only says she's sorry and does things when there is benefit to her. She's on meds but they don't seem to be working. She runs away and stuff when she gets the chance. This can't possibly be normal. Is she a psychopath? She's only four so other signs we'd have to wait for. My mother, me, and my grandmother just don't know what to do about her. We can't put her in the psychiatric hospital until she's five, and her birthday isn't until June. What's going on with her? What can we do?

So, I wrote a sci-fi/horror short story (it's not actually gory or anything) and I know that there are journals, but are there other options? Do I have to actually subscribe to a journal or magazine for them to publish my work? I don't want to publish my work online, though, if I can avoid it.
