"My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness" - Dalai Lama "The happiness of one's own heart alone cannot satisfy the soul; one must try to include, as necessary to one's own happiness, the happiness of others." "No action is ever an isolated event. Always, it invites from the universe a reaction that corresponds exactly to the type and the force of energy behind the deed." - Paramhansa Yogananda “Man possesses eternal faith and believes intuitively in the existence of a substance, of which the objects of sense – sound, touch, sight, taste, and smell, the component parts of this visible world – are but properties….The Eternal Father God, the only substance in the universe is, therefore, not comprehensible by man of this material world, unless he becomes divine by lifting his self above this creation of Darkness Maya.” - Sri Yukteswar Giri

  • Fantasy baseball trade help...Cliff Lee for Elvis Andrus and Carlos Silva (or Mike Leake)?

Need some opinions on this trade...I am looking to replace my current SS (Juan Uribe) and feel Andrus is going to be a force to recon with in the future. I am concerned about losing my strong pitching core though (although I hope this is offset when strasburg comes up). Here is my current pitching squad:

Greinke, Cain, Niemann, Pelfry, Lee, Latos and Strasburg. Will the benefit of Andrus at the short offset my slight loss in pitching?

If so who would you rather choose, Silva or Leake?

  • What are your thoughts on this article: "Sceptic challenges guru to kill him live on TV"?

    http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/asia/a...

After reading the article I had many thoughts pass, especially being someone who believes in a power greater than myself. I for one personally feel that public charades, especially one as such involving death are filled with ego, hence the failed attempts. Basically, unless all religious teachings are completely and utterly false, then the miracles which have been experienced, written about and performed are lies. I cannot wrap my head around the idea that literally all religions have it wrong (especially when quantum and metaphysics have much in similar with some of the teachings.)

What are your thoughts on this article? Is all religion a farce? Does modern day physics help prove some of the great mysteries (floating priests/yogis, yogis in two places at once [ http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1571/is_n26... ], etc)? Are supernatural occurrences real or a product of delusion?

  • Why do people say they are religious?

In my experience words do not exhibit true intentions, only actions can do so. For the most part we as people try to follow through on our spoken word...if we do not follow through, it can be very likely that success will be hard to come by (success in any situation, not just monetarily). Why then, when religion is brought up do so many people say they are religious (christian, islam, jewish, etc), when their actions show very little truth to this statement?

  • which WR should I start in my football playoffs? colston, driver, white, austin, n boldin?

I have 3 WR spots and one OP. currently in my OP I was going to put ryan grant or jamaal charles.

Currently starting I have colston, driver and boldin. Roddy White is playing against darrel revis who has shut down WR this year really well. austin is playing a pretty stout new orleans defense and dallas sucks in december. what are your thoughts??

  • What is so important about being right?

About specifically religion, but including just about every situation. Even in situations where we may hurt those close to us we choose being right over willing to accept others viewpoints.

There is no 100% right religion, they almost all point in the same direction (and so they all have merits of truth). So why does being right about your religion come before loving everyone? We even choose to kill sometimes because we believe our religion is the right one.

If we all honestly followed religion as much as we defend it, I truly think our manifested experiences would be much different than our current.

    *PLEASE*

Read the question thoroughly. Answer personally, don't quote me a book. Why do you feel it is so important to be right?

  • Where is a good yoga studio in the San Fernando Valley or closely surrounding areas?

I've done yoga at a couple places (yoga kingdom in pasadena, power yoga in Santa Monica), but they are just a bit too far to make a regular stop at. Any suggestions at a yoga studio that is a bit closer?
