If your parents have an insurance policy that you will be under, and you have been driving with them on your permit, how long do you have after getting your license to tell them? Also, will you be covered under that time?

Everywhere I've looked, it says that a 97 Ford Escort uses 6.5" speakers. I got 2, tried to replace them, and they refuse to fit. I measured the stock speakers, and they're 6". What gives? I have a 97 Escort LX 4 door. Manual windows and locks.

I was changing the speakers, I looked up how to remove the door panel, what wires were hot/neutral, and what size speakers it used. I used very many sources for each, and got the same answers from all of them. Yet all of it was straight up wrong. Half of the screws that the guide for taking the door panel off were non existant or in a different place. I also read that the neutral wire was orange/blue, I had a violet wire and a pink wire. No blue to be found. Then I read that it used 6.5" speakers, and when I tried to put my speakers in it wouldn't fit. I measured the stock speaker, and it's 6". Why all of the wrong information? What am I doing wrong? I think the car may be an LX package, but I'm not sure (I just got it used). Is there that drastic of a difference?

I've tried their US support number, and it's dead. I've tried Sony support. I've found a copy online (PDF) but they want $10 for it. Can't I just get a manual? I bought the car used and it has it in, I'm just trying to figure out how to use it.... Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ok, I'm making a final project for my alg class, and for some reason I've settled on visual basic to make it. I haven't used VB in over a year now, and I really don't remember all that much. Is it possible to create a button that would link to either another Visual Basic program, or would open a document with whatever the OS usually opens that document in? (like a word doc).

OK, I kind of got screwed over by the people at the verizon store, they told my parents I could upgrade my phone (this was when they were purchasing mine) when our plan was renewed, but failed to tell them that if you don't own the phone equally as long, you don't get the discount. Anyhow, I'm on verizon, and want to upgrade my phone. Do I have to buy an unlocked phone, or will any verizon phone do? I just want a keyboard, but don't wanna pay a crazy amount for it.

OK, so i will soon be building a computer with an ide cd drive and a sata hdd. It will have a pentium D at 2.0 GHZ and eventually have a 9800GT and thats about it. So will an HP PSU cut it or should I get a thermaltake? The psu is 500 watts btw.

ok, i have my wireless mouse plugged into port on my wireless keyboard, will this cause higher latency? what if i plug another usb intensive device in, such as my M-Audo fasttrack pro? i play games such as counter strike source and unreal tournament, where mouse and keyboard response is critical, so any change matters. And i do have other ports available, they just arent as convenient. Also, the ports are all USB 2.0. Thanks!

I have recently noticed on many sites such as IGN and GameSpot that the MSRP for Left 4 Dead is listed as $39.99. However, on Gamestop's website, it is listed as $59.99. Which site is correct? or is gamestop just doing crappy business and highway robbery as usual?

i turned on my ps1 the other day, and now the first controller port is shot. i have a spare, and need to know how to replace it. i am positive that the controllers work, have tried multiple games, and multiple controllers (analog and digital). i have the old clunky ps1, not the newer white one.

I have a brand new acer laptop, with a 1.46 dual core intel processor. i have a 358 mb mobile intel graphics media accelerator (X3100) and cable internet. i have 300GB of available storage, so size is not an issue. i am looking for Vista compatible freeware games, fps is fine, but im looking more towards racing games and things of other genres (i have 2 fps games already) i would like to have online and especially LAN capabilities. plz help me out =D

i have seen several online ways to stretch guitar strings, but dont know which way to use. i have a gibson sg faded with a slim '67 neck. i also use ernie balls 10 gauge regular slinky's (in the yellow pouch) plz help =D

My toggle switch is extremely loose on treble side, (which i use the most) and i think it MAY be because i let it switched on treble when i sit it down. This is also a 7/8 month old guitar, i do play it frequently, but take excellent care of all of my guitars, and am very easy on it when i play (i dont slap the switch up and down, and i dont flick it back and forth like a spaz, i use a tremelo :P)
