Registering an LLC with the same name as a Corporation.?
I would like to register a business name that is already registered as an Inc. This isn't some big company and trying to steal their thunder. There are no trademarks on it either. Can I register an LLC with the name even if it's registered as an Inc? Props if you can verify it by website.

1 AnswerHomework Help8 years agoHow to find an angle?
I have two sides, one is 47" long and the other is 24" long. Both are centered. How do I find the angle (and length if possible) of the two lines that connect them? I've attached an image of what I'm referring about.

2 AnswersMathematics8 years agoHooking 12volts to 24volt motor?
Got a little electric scooter with a 24Volt 350W motor (running on 2 little 12Volt scooter batteries). It's not running and before I sick a lot of money troubleshooting it, want to test a few things..
If I unhook the leads that go into the ECM and test the motor on a 12V car battery just to see if it turns over, will it hurt or fry the motor?

1 AnswerMathematics1 decade agoUsing a golf cart on college campus - personal transportation?
Leaving for college for the Fall semester... I know a lot of people use bicycles to get around campus for classes and other activities. Has anyone used a golf cart for it? I know staff use them, so I can't see why students wouldn't be allowed to bring their own and just obey all the track rules?
I emailed the college to see if I am able to do this... but seeing if anyone else has done this. Did some searching and could not find anything.

1 AnswerDo It Yourself (DIY)1 decade agoNormal Distribution Probability?
What height should a door be so that 99.5% of males can have a 4" clearance from the top of their head to the top of the door?
What height for males would represent the 75th percentitle?
Male height is: 69.0"
Standard Deviation: 2.8"
I figured for the first question, it would be 69.0+4=73.0 and then do the 99.5%?
How do I do these problems?
Thanks! :)

2 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoBoss "lost" hour tally - Is he doing something illegal now?
My place of worked closed down due to slow business (was only opened 7 months, food business). The power was shut off before the owner could access the total hours worked by each employee on the computer network (which is BS as I know the power was still on for ATLEAST one day after we closed, so he had time.
Anyways, 11 days after we were suppose to get paid for that period, we were finally told to come in and get cash at one of the financial partners business. Fine, 11 days late (no surprise, we never did get paid on time). I was atleast $100 short. Told to call my boss, he said since he lost power he couldn't get the exact hours, so he just took the hours off the employee schedule. Problem is, I worked several days for several hours past what I was scheduled to work - plus worked a double shift... not on the schedule.
I told him I have 5 out of 8 time slips for the times I worked, and I mark down on my calendar the exact amount of time I worked that particular day. He said if I had all time slips he would would pay me that way, but I'm missing 3.
Is it legal for him to do this? (Just take the hours on the employee schedule and say "you worked this many hours" even though I worked quite a few more hours?).
Can anyone give me advice on how to 'threaten' him or give me a link with the exact law he is breaking?
Thanks!
