well i am married, live in the middle of nowhere, but i like it. i dislike 99 percent of the trolls that roam y!a, unless they are funny, so like i said 99 percent. i hate spammers and smart asses, and if you ask a stupid question and are being a troll, i'll call you on it, if you spam i'll report you, and if you are inappropriate, i'll report that too. don't like it? eh doesn't matter.

  • What size needle and throat plate do I need when sewing sheer or silky fabric?

Good morning! I am learning to sew, and while I do very well with cotton blends that are heavier, I am having a problem with sheer and silky blends getting sucked into the sewing machine where the bobbin rests, which is frustrating because those are some of the more fashionable blends. I believe my problem is attributed to the needle size and/ or throat plate I am using. What size would be best for these blends?

  • when on mirena birth control, is this normal?

i've been on mirena since february of this year, and i was told that it would, over time, reduce my period and could even stop it all together. the first few months i had regular bleeding for the expected time, but this time, for the past week and a half, i've had spotting for the first week, and now heavy bleeding. is it normal for my period to go this long, even if it was spotting at first? thanks.

  • does sun block keep you from tanning or just keep the harmful rays out?

I'm in Florida and I tan VERY easily, but I want to use sunblock to prevent damage. I want to tan, though, and I used to not use sunblock, so I was wondering if I can still tan well with sunblock.

  • pregnancy pains, what's normal and what is cause for concern?

i am 36 weeks pregnant with our first child and up until a few weeks ago things were going nicely. except for the occasional bout with sciatic nerve pain and sore back, i didn't have much to complain about. however, the past few weeks, i've been very tired, almost exhausted, and i've been getting enough sleep. my body feels tired too. i don't do anything strenuous, but it gets to where getting up to go to the next room can be tiring. also, my hips hurt a lot more, almost every morning i wake up with sore hips and it hurts down my thighs. i've been getting a lot hotter, and everyone in the house complains that it's cold. my ribs are sore, which i'm sure is because she kicks me in the ribs. my stomach is also sore. it also feels like she's hitting me in the pelvic region. it really hurts sometimes. also, she moved and it hurt on the inside of my right leg, and it shot pain down my leg. i was wondering if all this is normal pain or if it's something to call my doctor about.

  • Did you let your baby listen to music in the womb?

I let our baby listen to music with headphones on my belly while she's in my womb. we also listen to music fairly loud in the car. if you did this with your child, what did you let him/her listen to and how did she react? also, did it become something that he/she found familiar when born?

our baby listens to disturbed, from first to last, metallica, and coheed and cambria, and when she listens to it she falls asleep. for instance, a few hours ago she was kicking me and it was hurting, so i put on disturbed and she went to sleep. i took the headphones off and she started kicking until i put them back on.

  • You know you like Halo too much when....?

So Halo: Reach is coming out tonight at 12:01, and my husband and i are really excited. So i've concocted a list of things that will signal you know you like Halo too much. My question is does anyone have anything to add to it?

    1. You go to the midnight opening to get the game.

    2. The first time it is available, you reserve it.

    3. You have two Xbox 360s, two copies of Halo: Reach, and two flat screen TVs in one room just so you can play system link.

    4. You keep looking for the reviews, updates, and the countdown till it's released.

    5. You have every Halo book.

    6. You keep glancing at the clock.

    7. You're willing to stay up all night even though you've been up all day just to play the entire game.

    8. You actually entered the contest that is giving away the life sized spartan.

    9. You actually believe you are a spartan. (fun joke about my brother in law)

    10. You bought a knife from cold steel, because it looked cool, and because it was called the spartan.

    11. You threaten to kill someone if they accidentally sell your reserved games.

    12. You're going to stand in line for at least an hour though you're 8 months pregnant. (yes, that's me)

    13. You were infuriated that IGN only gave Halo: Reach a 9.5, even though that's a really really good score, and suggested that the only reason that IGN gave it a 9.5 instead of a 10 like GTA 4 was that something less than reputable was going on. *coughcough*

    14. You're reading this and nodding along the whole way.

yes the majority of this is based on me and my husband.

    now, add yours.

  • How safe is it to get an epidural?

I am 32 weeks pregnant with my first child, and am wanting to get an epidural for the birth. i'd like to know how safe this is, and if it will affect the child in a negative way, as i want to do this instead of being put under when she's born so i can be awake to hold her.

  • is the band avenged sevenfold pro-soldier?

i don't mean pro-war or pro-government, those are different things. you can be against the war or against the government but still support our troops, like disturbed, which is fiercely pro-soldier. i've noticed that on the disturbed site they kind of support fellow bands, like avenged sevenfold, and avenged sevenfold supports papa roach, another pro-soldier band from what i've heard. but what about avenged sevenfold?

  • best erotic vampire novels, nothing like twilight?

in the midst of all the twilight knockoffs it's hard to find a good erotic vampire novel. as if that wasn't bad enough, a lot of the books i've seen online are about same sex couples or group sex. i simply want an erotic vampire novel, where the male is a vampire, the female is human, and there's no third party that has to be entertained to put it nicely. any suggestions?

  • Help starting a blog online?

I am going to start a blog, and I hope to turn it into a financial income if it is successful. However, I would be using the free website format. Is it legal to even use a free format to make money like that? Also, if it is, what steps would I take to even make the blooming thing? For example, I need to know how to add forums and how to make a member registry. Basically I know what I want to do, but have no idea how to go about it.

  • Did you have any weird signs around you, not bodily, when you first thought you were pregnant?

When I first though I was pregnant, I noticed that almost every time I checked my email and yahoo answers I would get an ad on my computer on the side that was about babies. This was frequent too! Did anyone else have anything like that?

  • Would you go to a blog like this or not?

I am thinking of making a blog, hoping to have merchandise if it gets a certain number of followers, and I was wondering if anyone would actually find this interesting. Keep in mind that I'm not asking anyone to join or go to this blog, I don't have it made, I just want to see if anyone would find it worth going to. My idea is to make a blog where people can go and rant about the stupidity of certain people or people in general. It actually makes one feel better when they can do that. Of course, there's a "respect other user's opinions" policy to keep things cordial between users. For instance, did some idiot cut you off while driving and practically make you run into the back of him? Then rant about it. What do you think?

  • is electro stimulation safe or not?

i've been looking at the electro stimulation packs from fetish fantasy for my husband and i to play around with, but when i went to buy one online i noticed something. almost everywhere i looked, it's sold out. this leads me to believe it's either very good or it's being pulled off the shelves for not being safe. does anyone know if this brand of electro stimulation is safe? i don't want to buy something that's not safe. please no immature answers this is a serious question. thanks.

  • how can i feel sexy with my pregnant belly?

i'm 14 weeks and 5 days pregnant with baby number one. (i just heard the heartbeat a few days ago!) i'm excited and so is my husband, but i'm so scared that i will hate my body more than i already do. i've always had an inferiority complex, but now i'm getting bigger and bigger and i feel so unattractive. my husband is extremely supportive and tells me i'm still as sexy as always, but i'm afraid that's just to make me feel better. now it's swim suit season and i love to swim, and i love getting tan, but i'm so hesitant because of my belly. my husband insists that i buy a bikini and i settled for one only if i could get the shorts instead of the small bottom, but that'll only cover it for so long, and i'll be pregnant all summer. what could i do to feel more comfortable in my belly and feel sexy even though i'm already big and getting bigger each month?
