Upgrade Gateway NV73 CPU?
Hi, I'd like to upgrade my Gateway NV73's CPU.
The specs are as follows:
CPU: AMD ATHLON || M300 (DUAL CORE),2.00GHZ
MAIN BOARD: AMD CORP.BALI (AMD M785(RS880M) + SB750/SB710
GPU: ATI/AMD MOBILITY RADEON HD 4200
Please recommend one which has a speed of about 3.0ghz.if possible.
Or, can I just replace the mother board with gateway NV78's,it has an intel cpu.

Hi there, I decided to upgrade my Dell xps M1730 laptop's CPU Processor. I bought a " Intel Core 2 Extreme Mobile X9000 SLAZ3 2.80/6M/800 Socket P OEM CPU PROCESSOR" on Ebay. I opened the laptop and checked all over the mother board, but couldn't locate the cup processor, anyone out there could tell me？ Thanks.
