Fan won't shut down when laptop was turned off?
Hi, I have a sony PCG-91111L laptop, it's fan keeps running after I turned off the computer, then I have to hold the power button to turn the fan off. Anybody could help with this annoying issue? Thanks.
I opened the bottom cover to check if it's dusty inside there, but to my surprise it's pretty clean. I used my hair blow to clean the facial dust anyway, but it didn't make any change, the fan's still spinning when I turn off my laptop.

Let me first clarify you why a fan runs..
The fan runs to cool the processor and is triggered by current supply..
So the possible reason is that when you shut down the OS is taking time to shut down..although the screen may go blank but it is still working when you are pressing power button you are forcing it to close by closing the power supply forcefully.... This may lead to OS problems sooner if you do this regularly... First let the fan off automatically... as it is not the problem of a fan its the OS problem...or if you find this annoying Format your System once this helps a lot
Hope you get it..!!!
