So I just bought diablo 3 but little was I aware that the video card on my lap top (Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family) did not support diablo 3 gameplay. So now I am wondering if there is something I can stick into my USB that will allow me to play Diablo 3 on my laptop. I have an Intel windows 7 home premium 64 bit laptop, inspiron 14.

  • How do you have faith?

What in your minds makes you believe in religion? What logic is behind your thoughts? Sorry if that sounds insulting, it is not supposed to be.

  • Thoughts and opinions please.....................?

This question does not pertain to my specific beliefs, but has purpose in hearing everyone's opinion and justification for what they believe is correct.

I've been thinking about what to believe in all my life. As a child I always went to church. My parents were divorced but it did not bother me too much, anyway, I went to Christian churches with my mother and catholic ones with my father, I participated in Christian bible studies and Baptist and Lutheran summer schools. I've studied the religions Christianity and Catholicism obviously, but I've also studied Islam,Judaism the history of religion extending back to polytheistic focuses.

I've also extensively studied the theory of evolution and the basics of the big bang theory.

What I want to hear from other people are your thoughts and reactions to the following:

Most of us know that evolution is a theory that has been developed by careful analysis of scientific procedures and deserves consideration by a scientific community. Even so, the theory of evolution is not complete, there are gaps in evolutionary history and occurrences for which cannot be explained. Furthermore, we cannot watch evolution in the process, we cannot watch as new species of living things are formed by the basis of evolution because it is said to have occurred over billions of years. And all we have to go by is what is in history and what is taught to us in schools or researched both of which are inextricably from the same source.

On another note, there is no evidence that supports religion beyond the books that they are based on. For example, the Torah, The Holy Bible, and the Qur'an. The only reason people believe in religions is based on faith alone and stories told to them by others with bias towards the proliferation of what a single person believes in themselves. As far back as history goes there is record of primitive religion. However, the religion of the past is almost completely different from that of today, other than the fact that it is all about believing in the existence of something far more powerful than us that dwells within an alternate dimension. As the base of everything is polytheistic religion. These first religions were basically just human beings, or as we might predict they were humans, personifying all aspects of which they did not understand, such as the sun, weather, day and night, and the stars signifying something beyond earth, i.e. the universe as we know it. Overtime it took social purpose in controlling the masses, to breed people for hope and unity to consecrate a village, a city, a state, a country, a world, to a common purpose, maintain peace, and keep everyone in the current state of hierarchy.

My thoughts are that if neither religion or evolution can be fully proven, then why would anyone want to shield the information from either category on the basis of promoting the standard of living for the human race. Everyone should know as much as they can about everything because not a single person knows what any other individual is capable of. With the information about it all, one person may rise to the challenge to discover the truth based on what he/she has learned about it all.

It may not even be possible to find the truth. If that is the case then if the true intention of any human being is happiness then we all must find understanding in each other. This can only be achieved by knowing as much as we can about everything, realizing that no single person will ever know everything, and that no matter what we believe we may be wrong.

All of the religions of the world could be wrong as well as evolution.

Yes, I realize that religion and evolution are both not science and by referring to analysis I the consideration of evidence which I thought was clear enough.

My point is not that they are mutually exclusive on a basis that they are in the same category, but that there may be something to believe in that is completely different than evolution and religion.

Also, I understand that there is no single group that the entire human species can be categorized into, but rather I was referring to the entire human species, unless your saying that we don't exist at all and this is just some kind of imagination in which is another question all together.

  • Why believe in any religion?

I have lived a normal life, other than the fact that I had brain cancer. Of course I've had all the normal type of problems and physical afflictions though. I've been taught under causal Christian religion throughout my childhood and all my friends then were Christians, some of them under stricter religious rules than I. Back then I just did what my parents told me and only thought about having fun with my friends and believed in God because I was told to.

Brain cancer made me appreciate life to extents I never dreamed I would understand at this age. And over the years I've come to realize many mechanisms by which this universe and human beings live by that many people never realize in their entire lives and I love life and I love all people.

Despite all of this I've come to wonder about all religions, primarily my own. I ask myself,

"If God loves all of us than why would he send anyone to Hell so that they can suffer to the greatest extent possible for all eternity?"

If only Christianity, or any other religion for that matter is the correct one, is the single correct religion, then all other religions are wrong, and all the people that do not belong to that one correct religion will receive the punishment of god. This means that only a very small percentage of the human population would actually not be suffering in an afterlife. So if a god created us then why would he have so many of us suffer and so few of us prosper in the afterlife?

Of course there is the fact that there is no evidence for the existence of god, just as there is no evidence that he does not exist, but there is evidence for evolution.

I would like to know your thoughts and ideas on this matter. All ideas are welcome and will not be subject to criticism. If you'd like to talk to me further than e-mail me at:

Yes, I understand that by definition, if something is created it must have been created by something.

And in that sense there is just about as much evidence for the Big Bang as there is for a God based creation.

Also, I do agree that humans need religion because not everyone can cope with life without thinking that there is something greater than them and it gives them hope that they have some greater power to which they can pledge in hopes of improving their own lives.

I am not trying to force my ideas on anyone, I am telling you my counter arguments because it is the problem I find in believing in any religion. I want to hear your arguments in the chance that you ay change my mind if i find your point to be wiser than mine.

I also wanted to mention that monotheistic religion was not how it always was, before that it was polytheistic, belief in many gods, so what happened to all those people in the sense that you religious people are correct.

I find the idea of all existence being a single consciousness interesting, I have heard it before, but not the part about us being an imagination of ourselves, it is thought provoking in the least. If this sci-fi idea, implying that it is indeed possible, is true, then we could never find out anyway, until it was too late.

  • Asked once before, what do you think about this?

Those who seek glory shall find it,

Those who seek wealth shall receive it,

Those who seek companionship shall not be lonely,

All one has to do is pursue in knowing that you will fail,

To change the world you will be seen as the greatest of failures

for you leave no trails and you seek no glory,

loneliness is your shadow and pain is your heart for you are the greatest among us

My greatest disappointment is there, the lack of, that is my failure of motivation

  • Die alone? A feeling of importance or actual ignorance?

I have a very active mind, I am in college and my mind is always wondering off during class, not that this is a problem, I make most 'A's, never short of a 'B'. Anyways, I feel useless and life and that I am going nowhere. I study my heart out often and feel like I'm in the wrong place. i am a philosopher at heart, I love knowledge, I just feel like I could be doing more, helping people.

Now I may just be trying to find excuses to explain my behavior, but I have little money, I have a job though, I try to be sincere to everyone, help people when I get the opportunity. I know that the world is subject to a different perception for every individual. I respect everyone as I try to understand what they feel, that is their own view of the world and their position in it.

Then I wonder about my own position in this world. I find that I am very socially unmotivated, I do not avoid social contact but I do not seek it. I find that I am lonely yet I continue this behavior and it makes me wonder what it is that I really want. The best decision I can come up with is that I want to make a difference, so that as many people as possible can be happy at my own expense. i do not care if anyone were to ever find out.

So, excluding my goals as a living being, that is to project a positive aura while sucking in the bad. My view of the world is very complex, is that everything is subject to a balance, even so that one persons happiness allows for the existence of another's suffering and that same individual's suffering allows for another's happiness as opposed to the happy already mentioned in a never ending chain that extends to all existence. So extending from that focus of life is death.

I do not wish for anyone to be sad so that I can prosper, so I hide my suffering and project that false happiness so that the feeling may protrude onto others around me. I kno that there are forces that I cannot control, much less am I aware of the smallest fraction of them. However, when I die I know that many people would be sad once acknowledging that I am no longer a conscious part of the earth. If I was to die alone without anyone knowing, or if I were to die last, being alone anyway, then no one could be sad for my sake. This would result in nothing good for my sanity, other than the thought of possibly having promoted happiness in others which is my main goal.

Again, this could just be a defense mechanism as i try to find a scapegoat to explain my inept ability to hold a relationship with the opposite sex.

  • Ears feel clogged after exercise?

After I I do intense exercise my ears feel clogged, but it's a little different, kind of like when you begin flying up in an airplane, and when I inhale it feels like my eardrums are caving in, when I exhale it feels like my eardrums are being pushed outward. There is a very slight pain, but I can barely notice it, its a warm feeling. This feeling stays with me for a while after I am done exercising, but if I stick my pinky finger in my ear canal and wiggle it around it seems to get better.

So does anyone have any explanation for why this is happening?

  • Why Can't I pick Aero themes?

I have Windows 7 Home Premium and everything was fine with my computer until I let my dad install Kapersky (bad move apparently). Kapersky in installed now and it works fine, but my dad also did a bunch of other crap to my computer and I have no idea what he did? All I know is that when he gave it back to me everything looked like it was precursor Windows XP style, even though everything was still operating to the Windows 7 standard. Also, whenever I try to do any high priority graphic functions, that area of the screen flickers black sometimes. So then I went to change the theme back to Windows 7, but all of the Aero theme selections were grayed out and not selectable. The Aero trouble shooter says that the Desktop Window Manager is disabled and the theme service is off or something.

All I want to know is how I can make the Aero themes selectable again so I can return my comp to its original glory.
