I have allergies and asthma. What causes the trigger of my runny nose, cough, and sinus pressure when the temperature changes? I get sick when it is 42 degrees one day and -20 degrees the next. It happens when the seasons change. I also need to know how to convince my mom to stop smoking around me. I have asthma and she has smoked around me since I have been in her belly.

Last Sunday I had a pretty bad cold, and lasted until Monday. And now, it's next Saturday and I am still coughing pretty bad and it kind of pops too, I am also kind of losing my voice. Does anyone know what this is?

Hi, I have the WRT54G v8 router. We have two computers in the house that are connected with wireless PCI cards. One is a laptop and the other is a desktop. The laptop has vista and the desktop has XP. When trying to transfer a 1gb file from the desktop to the laptop, the internet connection drops and I had to restart the modem for it to work again. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this, am I doing anything wrong or is there nothing I can do?

I'm going to try to describe some stuff here that has always been part of my life but I cannot explain it.

A little background: My mom is skitso-effective. She is not full, but just has some symptoms of it. She is also on medication for anxiety and depression.

All my life I have felt like I have to hurry myself. I am always worried and anxious about things - and then I look at others and see people do not act the same way I do.

I will sometimes just worry about things for hours and cannot stop them in my head. Also, when I am in public sometimes I get very anxious or nervice for just no apparent reason. It's like I cannot control it and am telling myself I'll be fine but I shake and move very oddly, almost fidgety.

Sometimes I also think about death and am very depressed. I don't want my life to just be lost and forgotten when I die. I just want to make a difference in the world so my time is not meaningless. At times, I feel like I can almost be two sided - like angry and sad.

We bought this laptop because I will be needing it for college in a year, but I also wanted to play some games coming up. We were able to get this for $1150 through Dell.

In about 3 years, all this will be needing to do is simple internet browsing and word processing.

I am currently trying to find a career I would like to go into. Currently, I am going to be a junior in high school this year.

I have 2 choices that I would like to do after high school. Those being:

Meteorology

Computer Security Specialist (Or something in the computer area)

Since a child I have always loved the weather and being around it. I would like to know if I could find a career where I could combine my love for the weather and my love for computers? I do love both but if you could go through the different advantages and disadvantages of each, that would be nice. I am looking for a well paying job, because my family has not been the richest of people in the past.

A few other things about me to include in this would be: I am kind of shy and do not exactly like going in front of people.

So if you could, please tell me what you think I should choose.

There is a kid who I hang out with. His attitude is not very good and he does things I do not like.

He:

- Smokes ( Smoking is really bothering to me)

- Racist ( He will make jokes about other people, trying to make himself look better )

- Acts like he is the best thing in the world and always gets what he wants

- Has lied to me and a few other people about things ( being rich and other things )

I'm not a hugely out-going person but he is one of a few people who I hang out regularly. In my opinion, I think he is using me and hangs out with me just because of certain things.

My question is: should I stay friends with this kid? I have known him for 2 years but I am kind of getting sick of his attitude. A friend of mine is also feeling the same way and are tired of it. If (in your answer ) believe I should not stay friends with him, how should I do this? I feel as though if I try to keep away from him he'll just harass me in school. I am to-be Junior in High School.
