Getting married. Help with tax form w-4. I make $70,000 and she makes $30,000. Are we safe to check “box 2” and let IRS figure it out. ?
OR do I manually calculate and have them withhold extra $? How much if so?
Confused.
4 AnswersUnited States1 year agoI’m marrying someone with student loan debt. She signed up for standard repayment plan for 8 years to pay off her student loan. Taxes...?
Since she switched from income driven to the standard repayment will this allow us to file taxes married together without them factoring my income? I make more than double her income.
Thanks
2 AnswersUnited States1 year agoWill we owe more or less taxes together after marriage? She makes $30,000 and I make $70,000. Married filing jointly help us? Please explai?
Usually we both get about $500-$1000 back. No dependents. When we get married should we see a larger return filing together?

5 AnswersCredit2 years agoI make about same amount this year. Last year I itemized for about $9600 in deductions. I got a $1500 refund. What about this year?
Assuming everything else is about the same, should I itemize this year or take the 12,000 deduction? Will I assumingly get a larger refund?
10 AnswersUnited States2 years agoMy backyard faucet for the waterhose is not working. Not one drip of water since we bought the house. Front works great.?
I don't know where to look. I scoured the crawlspace and did not see a single on off valve there. We have well water and the backyard hose faucet is located near the kitchen in relation to the house.
Any ideas? It seems like it's just not connected...
8 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs4 years agoWill I have to do anything on the house before putting in a natural gas oven? Converting from propane to Natural gas.?
Right now the house has propane going to the oven. He said it makes sense just to buy a new oven with the old oven and cost to convert the kit over to natural gas. Does that mean the house connection is premade for natural gas and the STOVE gets converted or does the hosing from the house get converted? I'm confused.
I just want to buy a new stove and have them connect it from HOME DEPOT.
