  • I am looking for a new fanfiction website?

After witnessing the disgusting actions of a group called Critics United on the fanfiction website I was once a patron of, I have found myself departing fanfiction.net and searching for a new website on which to read these types of stories. Which sites would you recommend?

  • Can we ban the asking of questions that have been asked numerous times already?

In the Religion & Spirituality section, you can see each and every day someone new posting "Prove God Exists" or "Disprove God exists" or some variation of the likes. The questions have been asked and answered enough times that one will never get any new information by asking again. Is this grounds to report and ban these questions?

  • In your opinion, what is the purpose of life?

I am looking for an atheistic perspective. I already know what theists will say, but I do not know what the point of life is in an atheistic society. It has been defined as gathering virtues by some, but why? Why should I be generous? Why should I be selfless? What makes these traits 'good'? It is far easier to be selfish, greedy, etc. So what is the point of doing otherwise. Please no one give a theistic answer, as I already know the theistic answers.

  • Why is it that when a Religion question is asked, people who are unqualified answer?

FOr example, when a question is asked on a theological belief of a certain faith, say the christian belief on the afterlife, it seems that many atheists who have not bothered to read up on the subject swarm in with false answers. This obscures the real answers given by qualified individuals who actually know the answer.

  • Why is it that people so often assume that all Christians are creationists?

I am Catholic, as is my entire family. We are all evolutionists and supporters of the big bang theory. It frustrates me greatly when people assume that all christians are ignorant to science. I feel to be in touch with my faith, but I also accept science as the law of our physical realm.

Evidence supports that the universe came from a primordial singularity, then great expansion, then modern matter formation, then stars, planets, earth, and eventually, first lifeforms, evolutionary chain, and humans. Evidence supports this, so that is what I believe.

I'm not saying that there are no creationists out there, although I personally don't know any, but there are far fewer than most people seem to think.

  • Need to take bus or other public transit to fort Collins Colorado?

I've been looking and looking for information on the web, but I can't seem to find any bus routes, or train routes, or any other forms of public transportation that can get me from the university of Colorado at Denver to Colorado state university in fort Collins. From what I can see, buses don't even go there. I'm blind, thus cannot drive myself, but I would love to go and visit my girlfriend over the school year (I go to CU Denver, she goes to CSU) does anyone have any info that could help me out? Any route starting at a train station or the university will do. Thank you. Also, I will need to get back.

  • Will there be remakes of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire?

I know this question has been asked, but I decided to to get an update. We all know that for years nintendo has followed a pattern with the Pokemon franchise:

    Generation1

    Generation1Special Version

    Generation2

    Generation2S

    Generation3

    Generation3S

    Generation1Remake

    Generation4

    Generation4S

    Generation2Remake

But they recently broke the pattern:

    Generation5

    Generation5 game A Remake

    Generation5 game B Remake

The pattern is still similar, but they broke it rather than making "Grey" that most of us hoped for.

So I wonder if anyone has any credible information on a confirmation or denial of remakes of the 3rd generation games.

  • A question for Christians who post answers here?

Why is it that when an atheist asks a question on this site you quote chapters of the bible? As atheists do not believe that the bible is true, quoting it gives no help, and will simply take away your credibility in their eyes. It is like quoting "1000 ways to cook a turkey" to a vegetarian. By trying to quote the e bible as evidence, you not only take away your own credibility, but also take away the credibility of the rest of us, as you lead atheists to believe that we only follow our religion because of the bible, which they consider to be fiction.
