I'm not a typical girl. I love sports! Mainly, I LOVE hockey and wrestling. I'm closer to Canada than any other state so I'm addicted to hockey. I know wrestling is scripted, but it's still classified as sports entertainment. I also like (not love) NASCAR and football. The only sport I really don't care for is basketball (the sneakers squeaking on the court annoys me). I am a female, and I do watch soaps, reality TV, and the other girly stuff that guys hate. I just prefer to come on Y!A! to discuss sports. I have no tolerance for the females who watch sports only to talk about how hot [insert athlete's name] is. (e.g. bunnies) You can e-mail me, but I may not answer right away because I work a full time job that's very demanding. I enjoy a good debate as long as it's done politely. I'm older than most people on Y!A!, but I'm still single and like to chat. Thanks!

  • Does anybody think the WWE is a little hypocritical?

They have the "Stand up for the WWE" campaign to promote how PG and family oriented the show is, but in the next breath they're promoting a buried alive match, which is definitely not PG in any way.

    Any thoughts?

Find the probability of obtaining exactly 2 heads in 4 tosses of a fair coin. Also, find the mean and variance. This is an experiment with replacement.

Can somebody help me with this question so that I can use it as a guide to finish the rest of my homework? 10 points will be given for the person with the best explanation (I'm not as worried about the answer as I am on how to do it.) Thank you.

Can somebody show me how to work out this problem. I have several more that I have to complete and I want to use this one as a guide to work out the other problems. 10 points will be given to the best answer who can show me how to work through the problem. As I said before, I want to use this one as a guide so that I can complete the rest of them by myself but I'm confused about where to even begin with this one.

  • Homework Question: Investing in the Stock Market?

For my finance class, I have to create a portfolio where I have $100,000 to invest in 9 companies plus I have to buy gold (mandatory). I am utterly clueless when it comes to the stock market.

Question: What nine companies would you invest in and how much would you invest in each company? If possible, can you please give me the company name, the symbol (so that I can find it), and how much you would invest? I have to create this portfolio and track it for the next month and see how much I earn or lose.

Thank you to anyone who can help me.

  • In Desperate Need of Help! Graphically Solving A Math Problem?

    Graphically solve:

    Maximize: z = 5A + 3B

    Subject to:

    4A + 5B < 1000

    5A + 2B < 1000

    3A + 8B > 1200

Note: All of the >'s and <'s have underlines under them but I'm not sure how to do that on Y!A.

Can somebody please explain how to do this? My professor talks so fast that it's almost impossible for me to write down everything he says and his idea of slowing down is still too fast for me.

10 points will be given to the best explanation. I'm not so worried about the answer as much as I am about the explanation on how to get it.

Thanks in advance to anybody who can help me with this.

  • Graph: -4x2-y^2+6x+2y-y+16-10x-27+3y-3y^2+5x^2-y^2=9-6y^2-4y-30+10x+17+y-3y--60?

    Graph: -4x^2 - y^2 + 6x + 2y - y + 16 - 10x - 27 + 3y - 3y^2 + 5x^2 - y^2 = 9 - 6y^2 - 4y - 30 + 10x + 17 + y - 3y - 60

I'll admit it; I'm completely lost and don't even know where to begin attacking this problem at. My professor talks so fast that I just can't figure this out.

Can someone please explain the steps on how to go about solving this problem? 10 points will be awarded to the best explanation.
