  • My 1991 Mazda RX-7 smells of bad gas.?

My rotary in my RX-7 smells of bad gas.

So much so, I could smell it in my garage when I was across the street getting my mail.

I just got finished looking under the hood and I even put it up on stands and got under it to see if I could find anything... but found nothing.

You can't pin point where the smell is coming from because it's so potent it fills the garage.

Anyone got a clue on what to do?

  • What late 60's/ early 70's movie is this?

A playboy, who lives on the California coast, dies (falls off his balcony into the ocean or something) and comes back reincarnated as a dog.

His friend, while at his friends house, finds the strange new dog and puts 2 and 2 together when the dog leads him to a secret liquor cabinet that only he and the playboy knew of.

The dog, then, somehow dies and comes back this time as a woman.

The rest get cloudy from there, but you get the premise.

This was not a Disney movie or kid flick, I remember my parents watching it late in the evening.

    I'm leaning towards 1968 or 69.

    Thanks for any help.

  • Is it bad to gather fallen leaves in a pile beneath the trees in your yard?

I went to my fathers house and saw that he was gathering the fallen leaves and raking them around the base of the trees in the yard and using them in the flower beds around the bushes.

It looks as though the trees weren't healthy and I was wondering what, if anything, that does.

  • Why does my 1990 Mazda RX7 go into "Limp Mode"?

Car drives fine, but while in a line at the drive-thru, the engine light came on. When I went to accelerate, the car went to half power (Limp Mode).

I immediately pulled over and cut off the car. Nothing seemed wrong, so I went and started it. Car fired right up, but no engine light and drove perfect.

The next day, same thing happened. This time, I went to read the engine codes and there weren't any.

Does anyone have an idea about whats going on?

  • If heaven is so great...?

Why do we all fight to live forever?

Why fight disease? Isn't it just your time to die?

What could death possibly be like if there is no heaven?

Is that our reason to fight? The not knowing?

  • Ford Question: Will a C6 transmission off a 1975 460 fit a 390?

I was told the bolt pattern on the bellhousing of the C6 transmission from a 460 V8 will bolt to a 390.

Is that wrong? The 460 with C6 is out of a 1975 Ranchero GT and the 390 is out of a 1976 F-250.

  • What would cause my Rotary to lose power?

I have an '89 RX-7, (all original and stock), while in slow moving traffic, my engine light came on. I accelerated to go into a near by parking lot. As soon as the RPM's went over 2500, the car lost half it's power. I cut the car off and looked under the hood for a sign of any sort... but nothing visible. When I went and restarted the car, the engine light was OFF and the car ran perfect the rest of the way home.

I know how to jump the wire to count the blinks to read the codes, but none existed after the light went off.

    What caused this to happen?

  • 1996 Nissan Maxima Theft Warning System question...?

I'm wanting to know what fuse/relay to pull to totally disconnect the security system.

I think it is #40, under the hood on the fuseblock, but I don't know what else I would be disconnecting along with it.

Does anyone have any other ideas to disarm the alarm?

Note: There is rear end trunk damage that is causing the malfunction. That's the reason why I want it disabled by a fuse/relay, because I will eventually get the damage to the trunk fixed.

  • So I ask, Am I the ONLY one?

That see's corruption, idiocy and greed winning this midterm election?

Am I the only one that's been alive the last 20 years that has a memory?

Am I the only one watching "HOPE" disappear?

Am I as qualified as a "witch" to run for office?

Am I the only one that can't believe any of this?
