  • What do you think of the theist v. atheist debate?

    Personally I'm a little wary of it because:

    1) there are good and bad points to both arguments (e.g. good: underlying belief of love in religion, ability to learn about our world through science; bad: lack of incredibly believable proof of God/gods, science has way too many controversies (and keeps changing as we learn more) to believe every single thing)

    2) accepting that others have different beliefs or at the very least tolerating that they do, helps to maintain a stable society.

    But what are your opinions? Should theists and atheists keep arguing (and why)?
