2 AnswersMovies8 years agofix power outlet problem?
My son uses the garage for his computer/entertainment set up. It is all connected with a surge protector to an extension cord that crosses the garage to the sole outlet. The power has not gone out in the garage, yet he cannot power anything coming from this outlet. Any suggestions?

What is a movie you know is bad, but you still love to watch it?
Mine, for example, is the original "Casino Royale" with Peter Sellers and David Niven. Terribly put together with that dated, odd 60s style humor that we all thought was hip back then, I still get a kick out of watching it ----- with the curtains drawn.

5 AnswersMovies8 years agoWhat were your favorite movies from your childhood?
This is all going to be relative given the age diversity on the site...I, for example, was born in 1955 and these were my favorite movies growing up:
1. The Wizard of Oz
when I was a kid we looked forward to it like we would Christmas Day
2. Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein
first movie I remember seeing, I've seen it more times over my lifetime than any other
3. Miracle on 34th Street
was always my favorite Christmas movie
4. Thunderball
I was a James Bond fanatic as a kid, bought all the toy assessories - even his atache case
5. Goldfinger
TBall was my favorite when I was a kid (underwater battle scene), today this is my favorite
6. The Adventures of Robin Hood
It was frolicking fun - still the best Robin Hood movie ever made
7. Treasure Island (Jackie Cooper version)
Mesmerizing to a young 7 year old, and still enchanting today with great character acting
8. Frankenstein
I loved old monster movies, both James Whale Frankensteins were my favorites
9. Mary Poppins
It was un-American back then not to love this movie
10. Swiss Family Robinson
A very underrated movie, great family flick. Imagine my disappointment when Disneyland replaced their tree house with a less enchanting one from Tarzan.

8 AnswersMovies8 years agoWho is MystMoonstruck?
She has been posted forever as the top recipient of Yahoo Answers in movies and her total points continue to increase, but I have never seen her on any question as one of the people responding and I have never seen her ask a question.......Sooner or later the frequent participants cross each other's paths answering and asking questions, but I never see the Mysterious MystMoonstruck who keeps adding points.
Where is she?

7 AnswersMovies8 years agoWho is the best Actor or Actress never to win an Oscar?
Your pick could have been granted an Honorary Oscar - Oscar's effort to make up for their ignoring of an actor or actress who at sometime in their career should have won an Oscar for one of their performances.
12 AnswersMovies8 years agoWho was ripped off of an Oscar nomination?
Three come to my mind immediately:
Ben Affleck, best director "Argo"
Kathryn Bigelow, best director "Zero Dark Thirty'
Amanda Bohlman, make up for "Lincoln
Bigelow and Bohlman would have been my choices to receive those two Oscars. Any you would add to the list?
