Is religion the ultimate form of co-dependency on a large scale, where the priests/pastors and ruling body are the dependents, and the tithing/donating/laboring congregation are the enablers? Don't they preach 'self-sacrifice' and 'heroism' in most religions? Isn't this what most enablers tell themselves, "I am doing this for their own good, I do it to rescue them from themselves" while they pat themselves on the back for their own 'righteousness'... while the dependent priests/pastors tell everyone that 'God' is in control?

I'm having eggs and potatoes for breakfast. Are there any Vegans out there who have something to say about my breakfast?

Mel Brooks' film, 'The History of the World' part 1 has some scenes that could possibly be considered anti-semitic, and anti-christian. How did he get away with these, and could anyone get away with the same kind of thing today? I'm talking comedy here, and not about gruesome films like Mel Gibson's.
