We are wanting to do a Roaring 20's theme for our wedding vow renewal ceremony. It will be for our "lucky" 13th anniversary. Any ideas? I'm going to wear a nice plain white lacy gown and he's going to wear a zoot suit. Other than that not sure what else.

My husbands exwife contacted us last year about him giving up rights to his son--in the state of Colorado, we live in Arkansas--so that her new husband could adopt him. We do not have any rights to his son--he's 12 and we ahve seen him 2 times. She does not allow us to speak to or visit him but gladly accepts the child support every month. It's been over a uyear and we haven't had any contact with them since that one phone call. Anyone have any idea what has to be done for us to relinquish them oursleves?

For the record, my husband is an awesome Dad to our two children. He would like to have visitation and contact with the son in Colorado too, but she was pregnant when the divorce went through and there was questions about who the father really was and no rights were established for him then and we can't get them now.

was on my way to town when I went to down shift from 5th to 4th gear it was hard to get out of 5th, once i got it out of gear it wouldn't go into any other gear and seems to have something hung up internally. Not sure what to do from here aside from taking it to a shop.

Addy was born Aug 23, 2009 and she is about 45 pounds now and hasn't gained any weight or gotten taller in about three weeks. Any ideas why? She eats all the time, about 35 pounds of food a week. She is not acting sick or anything, just not growing. She does run outside and play a lot. We live in the country and she is outside most of the day, so she is very active. Any help would be great. My vet's on vacation and we can't get into see him for another two weeks.. Thanks so much!!

My son will be turning 8 in three weeks, what is a game system you would recommend getting him for his b-day. He has never been interested in them until recently so we need to know what to buy and if you have any games that you recommend for someone his age. Some of his interests are football, Monster trucks, hot wheels, and of course, cartoons-his fave is Spongebob.

My husband's check is garnished each pay period for a back hospital bill, he will be getting his Christmas bonus next week, can it be garnished too? We live in the state of Arkansas and he pays out $289 each pay period. The garnishment amount was $4500, and he has paid about $1000 of it. The bonus will be approx $3000. Can it be taken or garnished too? If so, any idea if the whole thing can be taken or just a percentage? Thanks

I have been married for over nine years, it's not the best, but we do love each other, lately we have been fighting more and more. About a week ago, my first love and I began IMing each other and talked about how there could still be some feelings there. My husband and I have hung out with him since he's been back, but my "friend" and I haven't been alone, but the few times we were around each other we noticed some definate sparks. We have also considered meeting for lunch, but I am very confused, this guy and I were dating when my husband, which was a good friend, and I got together. We were on a break, I did love him very much, and my husband and I got together as a rebound thing, and the guy moved away for about nine years after we got married and has moved back.....don't know if I should risk it and start something up with the only other guy I ever loved, or just leave the past in the past. If u have any experience with something like this let me know how it worked out for you.

We have replaced everything but the head gaskets--the water pump, serpentine belt, fan clutch, and thermostat-nothing has helped . Any idea what else it could be. We were told that the thermostat could possibly be on the bottom when it ahould be on the top....any ideas?? Thanks so much!!

My kids have this rabbit that we got about a month ago. Here lately she has been chewing on just about anything she can get her teeth on. She is litter box trained so we let her have run of the house and for the past several days she is chewing on everything. Last night I left a book I was reading on the bed and when I went to another room for a few minutes I came back and half the cover was chewed off--and swallowed. I have no idea why she is doing this. She has salt and mineral blocks in her cage along with wood chew toys and her feed. So if you have heard of this or if you have had this happen any help would be greatly appreciated.....

My husband has not seen his sister since she was about 3 years old--when he was sent to live with his grandparents in Florence CO. The last we heard she was living around Canon CIty, CO or maybe Pueblo. Their mother is named Sandra Brown (or was the last we heard). And Katrina was born around 1980--we don't know for sure what date. It would mean so much to him to find her. He hasn't spoken to his biological mother since she sent him to his grandparents house and he has heard that she has had a couple more kids since him and Katrina. My husband and I are having a debate on this topic.....He says that being close friends with a coworker or friend of the opposite sex is normal and nothing about it is harmful. I think that emotional or having feelings for someone of the opposite sex is just as bad as actually having sex. Which one of us is wrong? I've seen people on here talking about having a work-husband/wife. Do you think that is acceptable?

My husband works with this female "Robin." At the place where he works there is only 5 people that work there as counselors at a mental health retirement center. It is a very laid back enviornment and they just sit around a room and talk. I have told him that I have problems with his and Robin's relationship. They will call each other on their cells while at work and she calls him while he is at home for questions that she should be asking her husband--like car trouble and kids problems. They sit right next to each other at work even though there are four tables with over 30 chairs. I have also found out he has ytaken her home from work several times without telling me. They talk constantly about very personal stuff. I am just fed up. I don't know if he's cheating or if they're just friends. Any ideas??

My husband and I will be married 10 years next year and want to redo our whole wedding--the dress, groomsmen, bridesmaid, cake and everything. I have a 1998 Pontiac Grand Am and the transmission went out in it. I have looked everywhere for a used one for this car and a standard transmission is appearantly rare because I can't find one. Someone told me that other makes and models of cars might fit, but I can't find a list of ones that are compatable......someone please help!!
