Ye Pirates Beware

At 1 am nov 21 I got really sick and started puking. I puked every 15-30 minutes until about 7 am, when I thought it would finally let up. But I have still been puking about once every hour since 7am (it's now 6pm). I have already been on the Internet searching for some ways to help me, none of which have worked. I am too sick to even get out of bed to see a doctor, and my doctor has already closed anyway.

Right now, my only symptoms are throwing up and diarrhea. I am feeling very weak because I have not been able to keep any food down, I can't even keep water down and I'm starting to feel a bit dehydrated. Does anyone have any tips that could help me? Thank you

I sure am. I just lost my job, the bank took my home, I am now officially divorced, and my dog got hit by a car, but hey! I just got the new iPhone 5 with unlimited data! :D Best day ever!!!

Who else has gotten an iPhone 5, and what do you think of it?

So I currently have an iPhone 4s which I just got two months ago. When I bought the 4s from Verizon for $199, they told me that I could pay an extra $80 so that when the next iPhone came out, I wouldn't have to pay as much for it. I did go ahead and pay the $80, but I don't know how much it will cost now to buy the iPhone 5. Has anyone done this with Verizon, and do you know how much I would have to pay for the iPhone 5 now?

For some reason, my iPhone is being very stubborn today, and won't let me delete an album from it. I plugged it into my computer, I selected the "Sync only checked songs and videos" on the home screen, then selected the "Sync Music" and "Entire music library" buttons in the Music tab in iTunes. Then I unchecked all the songs I wanted to get rid of, I synced the iPhone, and it got rid of all the unchecked music EXCEPT that certain album. I have all the songs in the album unchecked. I cannot figure out how to remove the album from my iPhone! I even tried changing the entire album from "music" to a "voice memo" (I have "Include voice memos" unchecked) to see if that would get rid of the album, but it didn't work! Now I am very frustrated, because I don't want to delete the album, I just want it off my iPhone! Does anyone know what I can do?

PS: I have spent over an hour Googling this issue, but to no avail.

I have a miniature pinscher/ chihuahua that's about 10 lbs. She was running outside for a while, and when she came back into my house, she had a really big splinter stuck in her right front leg. It's very long, and it actually is stuck in her leg like a stitch; the end of the splinter is sticking out of her leg. The splinter is stuck in there really tight. Fortunately, my dog doesn't seem bothered by it at all. She's walking fine, and even when I try pulling on the splinter, she doesn't seem to mind. But I still want to get the splinter out, because I'm afraid of an infection or something. The vet I normally go to is out for the weekend. I'm planning on going to another vet, but I want to see if it's possible to get the splinter out myself. Has anyone had this happen to their dog, or have any ideas as to how to get the splinter out? I bought a Vizio blu-ray player this Christmas. I hooked it up to my 40" Sharp TV that is about 2 years old. Ever since I had the blu-ray player, it has given me troubles. Most of the time when I turn the TV and the blu-ray player on, the screen is blank. But once in a while, it will work perfectly. Just now, I tried to turn the blu-ray player on, but alas, the screen was black. I have tried everything I can think of. I tried a different HDMI cable and I tried hooking it up to different inputs, both doing nothing to solve the problem. Unfortunately, there was no warranty on the blu-ray player and the warranty on my TV has expired. I'm not really sure where to go from here and I am getting very frustrated, as customer service has been absolutely no help whatsoever. All I want to do is watch a simple movie! Does anyone know what the problem may be, and how to fix this?

Also: sometimes instead of the TV screen being blank, it has flashed pink or a warning will flash on the screen saying "Not compatible with this signal."

I recently bought a Vizio Blu-ray player, and noticed there is a USB port in the front. This may be a silly question, but what do you use it for? Can you plug things in it like iPods?

On December 26th (Monday), a very large wooden shelf (about 20 lbs) fell and hit me right on the top of my head. I blacked out for a second, and was very dizzy and a bit delirious for a few minutes afterwards. Over the past week, I have been experiencing some really bad headaches, and I even almost passed out on Thursday. I'm not really sure if this is because of the shelf hitting my head, but I can't imagine what else it could be. I did go to a chiropractor on Thursday after I almost fainted, but I am still having the headaches. Do you think there is anything serious going on, or should I just brush it off and continue toughing it out until my head starts feeling better?

For Christmas, my family got a Vizio Blu ray player. Yesterday, we got it hooked up to our Sharp TV. We started playing a blu ray disc in the player, and everything was working fine. But today it is not working. When I turn the blu ray player on, the TV starts flashing the Blu ray home screen, but won't stay on. I think the blu ray player is working fine, because it turns on and i can put in discs and everything. The screen just keeps flashing. I was thinking it might be something with our HDMI cable, but I'm not an expert on TVs. It is a GE HDMI cable from Walmart. And like I said, it was working fine and playing movies yesterday. Does anyone know what the problem is, and how to fix it? Thank you.

With just a few days until Christmas, I really need a nice, unique gift for my mom. Over the years I have gotten her things like spa packages, gift cards, skin care stuff, jewelry, and other cliche Christmas gifts for women. This year, I want to get her something unique. So here is some information about her: she is a teacher (getting ready to retire), and she likes to read and has a Kindle (any neat accessories I could get her for the Kindle?). I've been looking up gifts ideas on Google, but I just can't find anything that I think would appeal to her! Any ideas?

A friend of mine might have depression, but she doesn't know for sure. She is still in high school and is a good student with strict parents, and does not want to tell them about it or get help from anyone she knows. I burned 2 CDs through iTunes that I wanted to listen to in my car. I have never burned a cd before. After burning them, I tested the CDs in a cd player and everything worked. Unfortunately, my car's cd player would not play them. It can play other CDs, just not the ones I burned. Did I do something wrong, or is my cd player just jacked up?

A while ago, I had to get a new battery in my car, a 2002 VW Cabrio. The stereo was working fine before then, but now it won't work. When I turn it on, it says "safe". None of the buttons do anything. No music turns on and you can't switch the radio station. I'm not too good with cars, so could you help me? Does anyone know what I could do to get my stereo to work?

I live in a desert area and found a light yellow/ orangish spider about an inch long. It built an orb-shaped web. It's front 2 legs are a lot longer than the other 6 and it has a very large abdomen. Does anyone have any idea what type of spider this is? If you need more physical info about it, just let me know. Also, can you tell me if it is poisonous? Thank you.

Lately, I have been getting sick of the regular breakfast foods, i.e. cereal, Pop-tarts, pancakes, eggs, toast, etc. Does anyone know of any quick and easy recipes for breakfast?
