What activities are there to do for families in Liverpool, Hull and Doncaster?
Ok, we have a choice to move to one of the above places to bring up a family. Which would you say is the best place to go in terms of bringing up a family, activities to do (Sports, cinema, indoors, outdoors etc).
Cheers.
1 AnswerOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoHas anyone struggled with their faith as no religion fits into their beliefs?
I am interested in severl religions but unfortunately there are aspects in all of them that don't fit my point of view. Should I ignore this and carry on with the religion that fits best. Or should I adapt a religion to fit my point of view, even if this means ignoring or disregarding certain aspects of a religion.
I'm keen to hear from others that have or have had similar issues.
Cheers people, have a great day!
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWould you move to, and bring up a family in Leicester?
Howdo, We are a married couple, thinking of moving to Leicester to start/bring up a family. We picked Leicester as it is fairly central to both sets of parents, has a good ethnic mix of people and seems to have a lot of things to do. Does anyone have an opinion of Leicester (reisdents, former residents etc). Any advice greatly recieved.
3 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoWhat would you do? I'm married and looking to start a family.?
I live and work outside the UK and have a few choices. I can move, with my wife, back to the UK to bring up a family. Stay on the international jobs market and move around the world whilst bringing up a family. Or I can choose to emigrate to a new country to settle and bring up a family. What would you do given the choice?
9 AnswersFamily1 decade agoOK, I'm looking to encompass a religion. which should it be?
I'm sure there is more to the world than the things we see, therefore I'm going to have a stab at religion. Which religion should I choose to follow, and why? I am interested in Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism and Sikhism.
Sorry to all you Christians, but having read about and having delved into Christianity in the past, I'm really not looking to go back to Christianity.
Hope you all have a good day.
17 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWrexham are struggling and look like they will go down.?
What will happen if they do? Will they choose to join the Welsh league? Or will they play in the Blue Square conference? If they choose to go back to Wales, will the FA firmly shut the door on a return? And will this remove them from playing in the FA Cup too? What do you think?
5 AnswersEnglish Football1 decade agoWhere would you live given a choice? read the full question please!?
OK, if you were going to start a family, which of these countries would you pick
England
N. Ireland
Scotland
Wales
Irish Republic.
. I am looking for a place where you feel safe, you have faith in the police and the courts, a sense of community in the area you live, a good standard of living, good education and good job prospects. I am English, due to get married and we are looking to start a family soon. I also live abroad and am a fully qualified teacher of Physics.
And please don't mention other countries to move to, I am aware of my options but want opinions on the places in the question.
Cheers to all who respond. Answers are much appreciated.
11 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoReligion or Science - What do you believe?
I'm having a few issues over belief. During most of my life I have followed Science as it answered most of the questions, now I am getting older it seems that to believe in religion you need blind faith in some areas, but the same is also true of science. Is the way forward to accept both science and religion into your lives? If so which religion? Christianity follow the bible which are a set of ideals written by people, whereas Islam follow the Koran which is supposedly the word of Allah (God).
Any comments and viewpoints greatly appreciated.
58 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWho else respects Martin O'Neill?
Apparently the FA called him about the England job and he told them straight "you didn't think I was good enough 18 months ago, so why do you think I'm good enough now?", then refused the job. I think the guy is spot on. He was the best man for the job then and the screwed him over. i think he's right in his stance. anyone want to comment?
12 AnswersEnglish Football1 decade agoAnyone want to enlighten me on a few things about Christianity?
OK. Who wrote the Bible? It is claimed to be the word of God, fair enough but who wrote it down? Just a bunch of people who claimed to be speaking to God a few thousand years ago? Well consider if someone made the same claims today. Where would they end up? A secure unit? Also why follow the bible when in truth it is simply the viewpoint of whoever wrote it all those years ago?
In all honesty I like the idea of religion but all the rational parts of my mind cannot get around these few issues.
I was hoping not to offend anyone with this question so apologies to those who were offended.
32 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoCan anyone give me an insight into Chesterfield as a place to live?
Just looking at houses for sale and as I'm not from Chesterfield, can anyone tell me places to head to and places to avoid? Also what schools should I avoid working in? (I'm a school teacher)
2 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoAfter today in the RWC, who things a England Scotland final would be great?
Think about it. A repeat of the first ever Rugby International match, against two neighbours. Realistically I think it is very doubtful but after today who can honestly write off Scotland or Fiji.
Any thoughts or has the feeling of euphoria got to me?
8 AnswersRugby1 decade agoOK more advice needed. Which province of Canada do I move to?
My girlfriend and I have decided to emigrate to Canada. Does anyone have any advice on where to go. We are completely flexible and all areas are possibilites so we are throwing ourselves open to suggestions so we can go for a visit.

2 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoWhich is the best place to live in these countries?
Where would people suggest the best place to move to is in these countries? We are looking at New Zealand, Australia or Canada. We are looking for somewhere to bring up a family, we enjoy camping and walking and sports. I am a Physics teacher and my girlfriend is a Vet nurse. We want to avoid big cities as much as possible and we like the idea of a small community in which we can get involved. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
6 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoWill the RFU finally admit they were wrong?
After England narrowly won the last World Cup, Sir Clive Woodward went to them with changes that needed to be made to ensure England remained sucessful. The RFU refused and he left. Since then English Rugby has been in a state of flux. Will the RFU now admit the were wrong to dismiss the changes and apologise for the current state of English rugby. Somehow I think not.
Anyone like to comment?
6 AnswersRugby1 decade agoWHich country is best?
Ok. Looking for my next move. Hoping to emigrate but where too? I am considering Canada, Australia or New Zealand. Which would you suggest is best in terms of Cost of living, Cost of Housing, Salaries (I'm a secondary Physics teacher) and ease of moving there. I have researched all countries and am struggling to decide so give me a hand. Oh I will be travelling with my girlfriend (soon to be married) and have 2 cats. Just incase this throws a spanner in the works.
Cheers in advance for the advice.
20 AnswersImmigration1 decade agoCan we blame Human Rights groups for the current climate of disorder in the UK?
I respect the fact that we have basic human rights. The issue comes when peoples humans rights are more important than solving societies ills.
I'm ashamed with the current events taking place in the Uk.Chavs rule, thugs rule, decent people pay tax for others claim benefits. Is it a decent place to bring up a family anymore? More people left the Uk last year than in the last few. Why is this? What are the government doing? Are they aware or turning a blind eye?
We can reclaim the streets, we can bring back pride but I think we need to stop worrying about the PC brigade and enforce some harsher penalties for people involved in criminal acts. The current law is a joke and I have alot of sympathy with the police whose jobs are being made more difficult by the law makers and government.
Lets worry less about the human rights of those involved in criminal acts and who skirt close to it and worry more about those of us that do the right think but get shafted.
What do you think?
15 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoScotland, Is it safer than England?
Bearing in mind the current climate in England would it be safer for me to move to Scotland rather than back to England? I currently work abroad and am thinking of starting a family with my girlfriend so was considering a move back to England. All my family and friends think I'm mad for considering it as they are trying to leave. What do you think?
7 AnswersOther - United Kingdom1 decade agoMoving to Ireland?
I am looking at moving and amongst other places I am considering the Irish Republic. I'm a Physics teacher and am soon to be married so am looking for somewhere to settle and start a family. Is it an easy place to move to? (I trained as a teacher in England), Are there places to avoid? Should I try to learn Gaelic? Does religious belief matter for secondary school teachers? Generally do you think its a safer, more friendly place than England?
Cheers in advance for all the help.
