Outside air con unit fan does not start?
I have a Toyo air con unit here in the United Kindgom
The outside fan is not running.
The compressor comes on and then the compressor gets hot and shuts down.
The motor capacitor is ok.
I have narrowed it down to the pcb not sending 240volts to the fan I think this is a faulty solenoid on the pcb. If I supply 204volt it starts fine.
Is there a thermostat that switches the fan on? Or is it a PCB fault. If so where can I buy a replacement
pcb for a unit like this?
1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs7 years agoCentral Heating Pump head and building height (for plumbers/heating engineers)?
If there is a boiler in the basement and radiators in the attic lets say 9 metres up and there
is only a 5m head on the central heating pump. If the pump is in the basement surely it won't have
the force to get any circulation up into the radiators in the attic.
Does this mean to get a central heating system to work the pump needs to be half way up the building?

We have two offices that currently have basic broadband internet connections.
What is the best way to actually link the two so that it appears as one network?
I see mentioned on the internet that this is possible with Microsoft ISA and/or routers.
Suggestions and advice. We are using Microsoft PCs and servers.

I am think of buying a condo in Florida in the Orlando/Daytona area. Something with shared pool and facilities.
Having never bought a house in the US before what should I be looking for.
My aim is to spend the winter in Florida and perhaps rent out during the rest of the year.
Are there any pitfalls to consider and anyone with any advice. Prices seem very good compared to UK. What about taxes etc?
3 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoChrysler neon hesitates over 60 mph?
I have a Chyrsler Neon 2.0L car on a P reg 1996.
The car runs well but if I try and accelerate hard or drive faster than 60mph the car hesitates like the engine looses power for a split second so you get a jerkiness. Drop below 60mph and it's fine.
I read that this could be the map sensor so I unplugged it. Apart from the service engine soon light coming on and the engine running a little unevenly at idle the car started the same jerkiness but less pronounced at say 45-50. Any advice could the MAP sensor be faulty or what other fault could it be?
1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoHas anyone spent Christmas in Malaga, Spain?
My partner has booked a holiday over christmas in Malaga Spain some all inclusive package.
I think it is a big mistake looking at the temperatures for that time of year it looks pretty cold.
So I foresee time spent sitting around in a hotel with little to do as the area will all
be shut due to Christmas and certainly not weather to be sitting around a swimming pool.
Has anyone any experience of a Malaga holiday hotel over christmas?
