  • What should I expect at my orientation?

I have job orientation tomorrow night for 5 hours at Kohl's. I'm going to be in Customer Service. I was just wondering if anyone know what we'll be doing for 5 hours and if I should bring anything other than the two forms of I.D. and a voided check. Thanks for the help!

  • How do I handle this expensive date?

Okay, I'm meeting a guy for a second date tomorrow night. The first time we met, we went and got coffee together and he paid for my latte since I got there late. Now he wants to meet me at an expensive restaurant (It's called the Caffe Gelato in Newark Delaware). I looked at the menu and it's really pretty pricey. I don't have a job right now, and I feel a little uncomfortable letting him pay for so much. I'm debating just getting a salad so he doesn't break the bank on me. He seems to like me a lot, but I just have a hard time accepting such generosity. What should I do?

  • How do I troubleshoot a Honeywell thermostat?

The red light in the righthand corner has been blinking. I changed the thermostat batteries last night and it worked for a few hours, but this morning, it's blinking again. The thermostat says the temperature in the house is 80 degrees or more (the outside temp, no less) but I can also change the temperature setting....though it doesn't seem to communicate with the air system and cool off the house. The outside unit is working and I checked the breaker box and nothing was wrong there. What can I do to get the house to cool off again?!?!?!?!

  • What are the predictions for Japan's progress over the next 12 months?

My university's art department might cancel our trip to Japan in March 2012 because of the recent events. So my question is, what are some sources for predictions regarding Japan's recovery between now and next March regarding economy, reconstruction and the radiation in Tokyo? Please only reputable sources and nothing about the end of the world, okay? Thanks!

  • How do you lose mass on your legs?

I have thick calves and thighs. It's not fat, it's mostly muscle mass, but I'm tired of having such thick legs. Is there any way to reduce mass on your legs? Exercises or something?

  • I have really vivid deja vu all the time! What's it mean?

I've had really strong deja vu since I was a kid. Every so often, and I mean often, I get this strong feeling that I've done or seen something before. It's not just a feeling: I realize I've seen, heard and felt things before and I get this feeling of unease. Mostly because I don't know how I've witnessed all this before! Can anyone tell me what's going on and if there's anything I can do to possibly channel this? Are they mini-premonitions because my grandmother used to claim premonitions.
