I'm planning on making them pretty small and I'm getting an idea that it takes 45 min. to 3 hours. So I'm just confused. I just know I need em done before prom. I procrastinated.

What are the hardest things to learn when playing the trumpet? Compared to other instruments is it easier or harder? Also how long with enough practice does it take to get to an about intermidiate level?

I really want to learn to play the trumpet! But it's my first time learning any instrument and I was wondering if my ability to whistle tunes well might help me learn to play. Is there some sort of technique or habit that can be improved upon or transferred between whistling and playing the trumpet? Thanx!

I'm going to audition for my schools musical. I'm having a hard time thinking of ways to portray the song 'Stars" without having to resort to looking like a cookie cutter version of what everyone else is doing. Basically the song takes place as the main character (who is a 12 year old in an adults body) is trying to find something to do that his friend (who currently thinks she's on a date) that they can both enjoy since she doesn't seem to like the games he brought out to play with. It's pretty much that movie Big with Tom Hanks, with a few songs in there. I do have Drama and Musical experience but I don't even like this song! I thought that maybe I could change it to be more of a 'thinking of date ideas, and I get excited about taking him to a museum of stars(I forget what they're called)" So far I've been trying to do it with that in mind. I only sing the first 20 bars, or so. The lyrics are like so:

"Stars! I can show you stars.

I also thought of giving the character another motive. She's trying to keep they're date innocent and as they sit in the car, she points out that they can watch the stars, instead. I could just do it the way it's intended, but I'm trying to give it something different that they might remember my audition. Should I just do it the way it is in the play? How can I spice it up so it's not so....like everyone else? There's like 60 people auditioning they're not going to get excited by another person doing the same thing! PLEASE! HELP ME!! Thanks to anyone who does.

I'm already pretty sure what fricked up my laptop. I was updating some stuff, itunes, and whatever, and I got bored and impatient and just shut it off. For some reason it wouldn't close or respond to my mouse trying to close it so I just shut it off. I turn it back on and BAM! It just stays still on the gray screen with the darker gray apple. I had no idea that you weren't suppose to do that!

I've "cracked" into the space with a black background and white text. It says a bunch of stuff about can't couldn't and the like. Stuff about the management, and apple stuff. Someone recommended that I should stick the battery in the freezer for a coupe minutes, maybe it was over heated. So I did that. No harm , but also o help. I let it cool down naturally before that. I let run out of battery a couple times. I've also just left it alone for hours at a time. And now I'm just leaving it alon for two days. I've shut it down and turned it back on countless times.

I don't know what to do! I really need this laptop! I only had it for a day! How is it that everything I touch turns to crap?!! Argh! I'm so frustrated if anyone can help me with any other suggestion besides take it to the Apple store, I'd be really grateful!

Also if I end up having to take it, do they charge? How much do you think they'll charge for this type of thing? What will happen? Is my laptop completely screwed now?! Anyway, thanks for reading all this and please help. Sorry about the misspelling, I'm slightly panicked over here.

I've wanted to be in a school play since forever and now there's a musical coming up at my school. I was totally amped to get up there and do it, but, of course, doubt rolls in. That's not the problem, though, that I think I won't make it, I believe there's a good chance I'll make it in, but the problem is if I can juggle all those responsibilities. Rehearsal is every week, five days a week until the day of performances. If I didn't have my odyssey team I'd do it in a second. But I have Odyssey, it's only about 3 days a week but it's getting to a point where there's a lot to get done before our competition dates. I want to do both, and there must be a way to give myself wholeheartedly. I'm thinking I can go to rehearsals 3 days a week and go to Odyssey weekends and the other two days. Isn't that a good compromise? I'm afraid that if I put that on paper , I'll lose the percent of chance I have to do the musical. I'm sure there is a person who can have the time and talent to do it and would beat me out because of it. Not only that, but I'm a dedicated person and it tears me up to not do well in either field because I'm stretching myself to thin! I don't want to do a half *** job in either one. It doesn't help that I've promised myself to the club first, so I feel that one of my first prioties. I told both teachers involved in both this problem and it seems it won't be a great fix either way. Once I was told it didn't seem like I'd be able to meet a decent half-way, I figured I'd stay with Odyssey. I might not get the part I want in the musical and there may be a better person suited for the role. Not to mention, I'm already in Odyssey and I'm the anchor for this really. I'm the only person consistent in the meetings beside the teacher who is Always there as well. There's always someone missing and so far we've only had one meeting with everyone there and that was recently even when we're so close to competition date. Should I really give up a chance to do something I want to do on such unreliable people? I'm dedicated to my team of six, but it doesn't seem like there all that dedicated to this. Seriously what should I do? I just keep going around in circles. I want to get A's again this semester but will all this get in the way? Odyssey didn't before but a musical is a whole different thing. Please help me. What do you think I should do? Thanks for reading all this, and sorry for the weird grammar here and there. So I've had for a long time so its on of the older models. The one 8 gb thats more of a square. I plug it in to itunes and nothing happens! The last time it said "charge me" basiclly so I tryed but it doesn't do anything! It doesn't charge and it just has a black screen. I tryed the whole "menu, center" button thing but no-go. WHAT DO I DO!!!??? I've had this ipod for so long and its been trippin out for a while now...like a month. Help me!! Its going to be forever before I get a new one!!!

I have a devil costume, that I'd never worn (it was a gift) but I've never gotten a devil costume cuz I think it's non-too original. So tell me How can I get creative with this costume? Ok so School hasn't started yet but I've always dreamed of being in a a school play!! So now that I'm starting highschool heres my chance!!!! Now I am nervous like anyone else would be but I'm confident that I could get a part, My only question is..How do these things go? Do you get up there and read a passage from the script or what?? Also What sort of plays do highschools normally do? On Tv it's always sumthin like Romeo and Juliet and they always have to have an awkard kiss at the end. (I know it's TV and you shouldn't believe everything on it but then what IS the normalcy for this?) and It would help alot if you're the teacher who organizes school plays or even a student whos done this b4 so thank you, thank yous!!!

no sick stuff, honestly its for 13-14 year old kids. I was planning a water balloon fight and a movie but it'll be 2 cold for that what do u suggest 2 fill up this gap? Please help! I really dont want a house full of bored almost-teenagers!
