I am buying a house soon and have roughly 35,000 in the bank...I have only told the mortgage company I would make 25,000 available for a 20% down payment, but should I make up to 30,000 available or keep it like it is...I could afford the payments of a better house with a 30,000 down payment but I am just wary of taking my savings down so far? What do you think and why? Thanks

If a solar panel is rated as delivering 15 watts of power...Does that mean it delivers 15 watts per day or 15 watts per hour = 360 watts per day?

Or does it mean it produces 15 watts per hour of sun it gets (say an average of 4-5 hours a day would deliver 60-75 watts per day)?

I have been looking for "practical" weight loss meals to cook to eat a little healthier. Everything I read seems to be all this fancy stuff. I am tired of eating chicken and salad as part of a diet. I love them both but eating it everyday gets old fast. Any ideas or websited would be great!! Also, any ideas for great healthy smoothies would be good too!!

I will be 25 in December...I was homeschooled my entire life and finished high school with a diploma...I am thinking about going to the local community college but I first have to take the ACT. Does anyone have any suggestions for preparing for the ACT? I don't feel like I learned very much from my mom when I was homeschooled. She was always preoccupied or talking on the phone, so we never really did much. Now I am nervous b/c it is catching up with me...I really need a refresher for all the main subjects that would be covered...Any ideas of good books or computer cd's that could help me?? My power cord for my laptop recently died...I replaced it with a universal cord from Best Buy. The cord will allow the laptop to run but will not charge the laptop battery. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to charge the battery?

My laptop was running when the battery died...I have plugged the laptop in using the power cord but it won't turn on...There is a light for the battery that is green when the battery has power and red when it does not..The light remains red even when the laptop is plugged in...Does the battery just need to recharge? Or is it something else?? Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

I have apparently deleted the games ( such as solitaire, mine sweeper, etc..) and the sound recorder from my entertainment folder on my computer by accident. Does anyone know how to restore the sound recorder? I dont really care about the games. Thanks

My fiance and I our getting married in August. We are on somewhat of a tight budget. My fiance's suggestion is that we let our attendants cut up fruit for the reception at the rehearsal dinner, so we don't have to pay a caterer to do it. I think this is an insane idea. What do you think?

I recently had limewire but I got a bunch of viruses from it. So, what would be another good place to download music without catching viruses?

Will their insurance cover the cost to fix the damages to my car and retint the windows that were broken as a result of the damage? Also, if I have to sue them for certain expenses, can I also sue them for my attorney's fees to collect the expenses? I am in Alabama. And can I get them to pay me devaluation (A.K.A. what the car would have been worth if I sold it without the accident in the cars history report?) Any help is greatly appreciated.
