Me and my fiance live in a rented apartment together in Colorado. We are both on the lease and split everything 50/50. That being said all the furniture is mine and I was the one that forked over the deposit. My fiances brother in law got ejected from the military and moved in, at first for just 1-2 days to catch his bearings before going back to his parents (he is young, only 18). Well that has turned into much longer and I HATE it. It is a small apartment so I am confined to my small bedroom because he now lives in my living room, in addition it creates relationship issues with my fiance, and I NEVER get a moment alone. He lives here rent free as well. Of course I have made all of this loud and clear and demanded rent money but my fiance protects him and he won't leave. So I need to know if I have any legal standing to evict him or cite him for trespassing if my fiance, who is also on the lease, is allowing him to be here. Thanks for your help!

So I met her back in 2010 and we clicked instantly. At the time she was in trouble with the law and at home. Added to that she had failed a full year and a half of high school (she was 16 and I was 18 at the time). Well I have always been a preppy athletic person so we started dating and I mentored her out of her troubles. I helped her graduate on time and get out of legal trouble and then we she turned 17 I moved into an apartment with her to get her away from her not so nice parents.

flash forward to 4 years later. We have been together the whole time. We live in the town we were raised in because I have a great job- so most of our friends are long gone (we only have each other). Well we go board, so I became inattentive and she started lying about things. Not about major things like cheating but about other, smaller things. Seh told me she worked for Dish TV when really she worked for Hooters (things like that). So trust was broken and its been a while and she won't get a new job and it pisses me off. Either way she is now getting a better paying job and I have relented on the whole Hooters thing- however now we fight all the time. We never kiss or anything its just kinda bland.

Problem is if I leave her I will struggle to be completely alone in this town (and so will she). I will loose my pets, I will loose my partner in life- in the fact the only person really in my life. Not to mention she will be out on the street. What should I do?

I am going to court tomorrow for a car accident i was in about a month ago. I need some advice. My problem is I am being accused of being at fault for an accident that i am completely innocent! I was driving down a one lane street and there was a chevy pickup in front of me. Randomly the pickup breaks really hard and starts reversing because he had driven past an an atm that he wanted to get into so he backed up to be able to get into it without realizing i was behind him. I swerved to the right of him to avoid collision and as i am getting out of his way he starts turning into the atm without looking. Becuase i am at his side he smashes into me and pins me to the curb totaling my vehicle. I pointed out to him that this way an exit only atm and he was not aloud to turn into it anyway! I was so flustered about my vehicle i did not notice that he moved his vehicle to a parking spot and he begged me not to call the police. I did thinking they would help me, i also had a passenger in the vehicle who went through the same situation i did. They will not allow her to be a witness because it is biased. And he told the police that he was trying to park into a parking space and i smashed into him, AND THEY BELIEVED IT! His vehicle is 100% fine and mine is gone, my insurance won't cover it, the police report is against me, i can not afford a lawyer or attorney and i can not afford a new vehicle... on the police report there is a couple mistakes including the color of my vehicle, help!

Ok so I have had migraines my whole life. I get them about every other month or so. They onset suddenly with slight pain behind my eye and then nausea. That eventually leads to severe pain behind the right eye, and vomiting. I have to go in a dark silent room for about 3 to 4 hours. I eventually fall asleep for about an hour or two, and then wake back up in a weakened state, but without the pain.

As of the last month or two I have this happen EVERY single day. It always happens later in the evening (around maybe 5:00 or 6:00, and up to 9:00). So I started to drink more water (i still need to drink more though). But the water didn't help. Nothing did. So now I take tylonal and aleve every day to get rid of the pain so I can keep working. Obviously that is horrible for me but I do not know what else to do.

So my question is, why is this pain happening? (in your opinion before I go commit to a CT scan at the doc) And is there anything else I can do to help? Below is some more details that may help

1. I smoke :( have been for 4 years or so

2. I take suboxone (small dose) for almost 2 years

3. I am 21 and in decent health. Not overweight although my diet could be better (same diet for 2 years though)

4. I am susceptible to dehydration

5. I don't work out as much as I should

6. Headaches start most of the time at work, which is a VERY stressful job.

7. My dad suffers from migraines too, but his went away after he starting drinks tons a water a day.

I will start from the beginning. My girlfriend Alice and me have been dating almost 3 and 1/2 years. We have always been very close and never fought. We moved in together about two years ago and it went amazing. About 6 months after moving in she got a job for a call center in which she worked at home. I hated this because I knew she would be home too much. She lost all of her High School friends and only had me. I knew she would be at home all day, and when I got home from work tired and beaten down that she would want to go out and I wouldn't. I am kinda a home-body I should mention. So we did this for a while and then she got a new job and made a friend, Janice. That is where things start

Janice and her are now inseparable. They go to work together everyday, and in fact the hang out for 4 to 5 hours before work. When Alice has a day off, she spends up to 14 hours with Janice. When me and Alice have the same day off, she will hang with me for 5 hours at home, and then go out with Janice for 10 hours or so. Leaving me here alone to take care of our pet rabbit and all the chores. I tried to be cool and we made an agreement she could go out as long as she spent more time with me, was home when she said she would be home. Well this didn't work and she kept going out ALL the time.

She promised me the there would be no Janice today and just me. And that was true until 6:00 (Janice). She promised to be home at 10:00, and now won't be home until 2:00. What should I do???????

I really need some advice right now. This has been a horrible month, and i appreciate your time and answers :). So about 5 days ago i was in a car accident, this is what happened: I was driving on a one lane street, and there was a chevy pickup about 5 feet in front of me. To the side of me on the one lane street was a couple parking spaces for a bank on my right, there was also an exit for an exit only atm. As i am driving the man in the pickup all of a sudden starts reversing his car without looking behind him, or showing any sign of what he is about to do next. So he reverses into the middle of the yellow lines so he is half way into oncoming traffic and half way into my lane. I start slowing down as quickly as possible and at this point i am about at his back tires. Suddenly without turning his blinker on or signaling he starts turning into the exit only atm! I slam on my breaks and swerve as far over to the curb as i can get, as he is turning. I could not get any further up on the curb since i am parallel to it, and all i can do is watch him smash into me. he didn't even see me until the last second! He totaled my car smashing my drivers side headlight which smashed into my engine and severed several pipes causing damage and fluids to mix, my door is also broken. He had a small dent from smashing into me. And i got a careless driving ticket! He did not even get a ticket and got to drive away from the scene, scott free. What can i do to prove this wasn't my fault :(?

I am not trying to offend here I am simply curious. Jesus was never against homosexuality, and the only homophobic references in the bible are in the old testament, and the writings of Paul. So if Jesus, your lord and savior, and was not against homosexuality, and indeed accepted everyone (accepted, not condoned) than why are there so many Christians against homophobia.

Also given that God is an all perfect and all kind being, how can we say that God is at all homophobic and anti-anyone. The only description of god comes from the bible, and considering god did not write the bible how can we attribute such emotions as jealousy, hate, judgement, and homophobia to an all perfect God. So in my mind either the bible is wrong about god, or god is not all prefect.

So i guess my questions is, with an all perfect God and all accepting savior, how can we judge anyone on what the bevel?

I just want to know if I am missing something here. I appreciate everyone's time.

I am an atheist, I have a BA in theology and PH.D in History, and currently teach at a university which shall remain unnamed for PR purposes. So i do indeed know that atheism is, but I want to hear from other atheists to see what they think it is, and what It means to them.

As of now I am writing a book on atheism. Not a book to insult religion, but to instead clear up prejudices about atheism, for atheism is going and i want to help everyone understand what it is. I plan on using some quotes directly most likely.

There have been studies done that prove Atheists are less likely to be in jail, less likely to be racist or homophobic, and generally just as happy as persons of faith. So why are we hated and compared to Stalin? The profile of Atheists, done by a college professor can be found on Wikipedia. Just take a look if you disagree.

Why are people too. We are not ruled by instincts, we have the same view of right and wrong as the theists. We don't think we get a cop out of wrong doings, considering most of us are completely kind, normal, and law abiding citizens.

I'm just curious why were are hated, and why there is so much oppression, discrimination, bigotry, and hate directed towards atheism.

I personally am an atheist, specifically an explicit atheist. However, my life long best friend and also a colleague of mine at the university (that will remain unnamed for PR purposes) we both teach at is a theology doctorate. I personally am in the field of History, not theology. I know enough about theology to study it and draw conclusions though, but that is all. Anyway, me and my good friend debate about the merits of religion in today's society and if we should continue to embrace religion as a societal principle. Personally I have no opinion either way, i think your views on faith are for you to decide and that is that. I digress

So lets discuss academically here what you think. Would the world be better with only religion or without religion. Please provide an argument for your reason as well.

Assuming god is omniscient, meaning he knows all logic and controls all beings. Than there is no free will and only pre-determination. Most Christians do believe in pre-determination. So I am an atheist, a strong atheist meaning i that i deny the existence of any god. So being that god pre-determines our lives and actions, why would be pre-determine me to be a strong atheist and therefore, pre-determine me to go to hell. Especially given that god is a kind force, and not an evil one.

If god is all powerful and all knowing wouldn't he therefore, pre-determine me to believe in him and thus go to heaven.

Also please lets try not to use the devil in the conversation. Because if the devil can control me and 16% of the worlds population into denying the existence of god, than god is not omniscient, because the devil would have control over him.

And last please don't insult me, I'm not a bad person. I am a college professor in history, I donate upwards of 20,000$ a year too 2 different organizations and i volunteer 30 hours a week in the summer and 10 hours a week during the school year (In the summer I go to Uganda and help teach children). I am also very loyal to my wife and I am a kind person.

Ok so the bible claims the earth was created in 6 days- We know from carbon dating and the laws of physics that it took just under 1 billion years.

The bible claims the earth is around 600 years old- It's not obviously as carbon dating and other scientific evidence supports that the earth is about 4.5 billion years old

The bible says the earth is flat- This is obviously wrong. I don't know who thinks it is correct

The bible says when Jesus returns the stars will fall- We know this is impossible as well. As many of the "stars" are entire galaxies and cannot fall or reach earth for billions of years even if on a direct course at the speed of light

Even rabbits are said to eat their cud (partially digested food)- They do not according to every veterinary professional.

and there are small things like resurrection, splitting the seas, the earth has pillars, virgin birth, ect... have NO scientific evidence backing them up. In fact science (with only exists when there is proof) disputes all these events.

SO THAT BEING SAID HOW CAN YOU CLAIM SOME OF THE BIBLE IS ABSOLUTE TRUTH AND OTHERS ARE NOT. EVEN DISREGARDING THE VIRGIN BIRTH, IN FACT DISREGARD EVERYTHING ABOUT JESUS, LETS INCLUDE JUST THE SCIENTIFIC STUFF. IF SOMETHING IS NON-FICTION THAN EVERYTHING IN IT IS NON-FICTION. SO IF THE BIBLE HAS OBVIOUS FICTIONAL ELEMENTS, HOW CAN ANY OF IT BE CONSIDERED TRUE?

I'm just curious. After finishing school and spending 2 years on research about America the truth of how it operates made me sick, and disillusioned. I know most people wills say because we are free and yada yada yada. But I'm curious if someone who ACTUALLY understands our economic system/government and the damage it does loves this country and why. Lets be adults please
