  • What is the worst scar you have?

Surgical scars don't count, unless you had to have the surgery because of an accident. Only accidents, or just plain stupidity. What caused it and where is it?

I spilled boiling water on my face and chest. Luckily I only have one tiny scar on my neck, but the blistering was UGLY!!!

  • How to get sleep?

Okay, here's the deal. I have not been sleeping. I have the opportunity, my 5 month old sleeps through the night starting at 8 and waking up at 8, but I just can't sleep. I am breatfeeding my baby, so there is a limit at to what I can take. Can anyone think of anything I can take? Has a doctor prescribed anything to anyone while they are breatfeeding saying it is safe for baby?

Ladies, would you go to a ob-gyn for a feminine cosmetic rejuvination? I just saw the commercial for this and thought it was a little extreme. Under what circumstance would that be nessecery?

  • Ads in the answer?

If someone puts an ad in their answer (cash crate and others like it,) do you just give them a thumbs down or are you supposed to report them. it is a violation right? Especially when it makes no sense with the question asked

I just posted this in Yahoo!Answers and it hasn't gotten anything, and the section is moving really slow, so if you can please let me know what you think.

  • Should I tell her?

Okay, this is not a joke, this girl is REALLY this stupid. My husband and i hang out with this girl and she is pretty gullible. At one point some guy told her that drinking his man juice would help her stay thin. Now she drinks it as much as possible. She even tells her boyfriend that she wants his, so she can stay skinny. The guys (of course) don't want to tell her that this is someones idea of a sick joke, but i feel bad for her. She is only 18 and is earning a reputation because of her silly vanity. Should I take her aside and tell her or should I let her continue her disgusting diet. She has said that it is nasty, but she'd do any thing to stay skinny.

  • How to get Hubby to work?

I am a stay at home mom. I do all the house work. I do not mind this, my husband works very hard and should not have to wash dishes or do laundry. My problem is with the little things. He won't refill the ice tray or the water pitcher. THings like that drive me crazy and I have tried expaining it to him, but he doesn't do it. What should I say to him that will make him do these little things? I cannot even get him to put the plates in the correct sink!

  • A gift for step-mom?

My father married a woman from the Philipenes Oct 2005. She finally got to move to America and live here. On Satuday, all of my family is throwing her a party. I don't know what kind of party you would call it so I will call it a 'Welcome to America' party. Eveyone is getting gifts for her. I live 1,500 miles away and even though I cannot go, I would still like to send a gift. I am at a loss at what to get. My dad said to just send a gift card, but I would like some better gift ideas. I know she likes cross stitching and will have a lot of time on her hands until she can get a job here. I don't think buying her a cross stitching pattern would be good because I don't know If they are the same in the Philipenes as what we have her in our stores( as in the directions and the termanology and such) Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

  • Ingrown toenails.?

I keep getting really, really bad ingrown toe nails. It is not because of my shoes, I either go barefoot or wear tennis shoes. I think it is mostly because of my toes. The skin grows up and over the nail. should I get the skin around the nails cut or should I try something else? I would ask my doctor, but I am a military wife and where we live getting the military to get a referral is like pulling teeth. I would like to have an idea of what to do before I go so I don't have to waste my time.

  • What is your baby's favorite toy?

Right now my daughter's favorite toy is a dog toy. She is 5 months old and she loves this pink pig that my mother bought for her. It is actually a dog toy, but it is really safe because the eyes and nose are stitched on, no little buttons on it. When you squeeze it, it makes piggy sounds. Very cute. What are some odd toys that your babies have picked up over the year?

  • My son seems a little Obsesive compulsive?

My three year old has some weird obsessions. One of the big ones right now is that all doors have to be closed. This is not limited to the doors in our house. He has to close the doors to his school bus, automatic doors freak him out and even the dishwasher is not safe. I normaly don't mind, but today when I was trying to get the laundry out of the dryer, he slammed it shut on my upper body. I now have bruises on my shoulders. How do I discourage him from doing this all the time? I have a 5 month old and I don't want him hurting her

  • Yao Ming's first name?

Why does yao Ming use his 1st name on his jersey. I asked a Chinese guy if it was because it was actually his surname like in Japanese culture, but he said they don't do it that way. My husband and I just can't fid someone with a plausible answer.

  • What is the shape of Sandies cookies?

I found a recipe for sandies. I made them just like the recipe, which called for " 1 inch round balls one inch appart ' on the baking sheet. When I pulled them out, they were still round. Are they supposed to stay ball shaped or were they supposed to flatten out? My mother-in-law bakes and if they are the wrong shape, I know she will make fun of me for it. They do taste good though,.

  • Moldy Caulking in the Shower?

We live in an apartment and have a serious problem with mold. The caulk in our shower stall grows it constantly. I have tried bleach, the tilex mold and mildew remover, and that scrubbing bubbles daily shower cleaner. No of them seem to work. Short of stripping out the caulk, how can I get rid of the problem?

  • Un Potty-trained 3yr old...What to do?

My son is 31/2. He refuses to potty train. I have tried cheerios(he wants to eat them) I have tried pull-ups, just underware, begging , pleading and even threatening. If I leave him on the pot for 30 min, he sits there... reading a book. Then he gets up and promply pees in his pull-up. Then when he poops, he refuses to tell me. he hides until I smell it, then cries like I am going to get mad at him for his mistake... I don't knw what to do with him. My mother had all girls, and she says we were easy and my mother-in-law adopted my husband when he was 21/2 and already potty trained. Oh, and to make matters worse he is speech delayed and understanding him when he does want to go(rarely) is impossible...
