Im a girl im 16 and my best friend is a guy he is 16 too. People always tought we were dating and we always just laughed them off but lately i dont know i just feel diffirent with him. I feel happy but like not normal happy, like super happy and i also fantasize about him sometimes which i havent done before i think and whenever he hugs me i feel like i have butterflies in my stomach. He used to hug me before and it wasnt a big deal but now when he hugs me it feels diffirent and i cant stop thinking about it all day. Is this normal or am i having a crush on him? i dont know if he likes me that way so im scared

Im a girl and my best friend is a guy and we have been friends since like kindergarden, i really like to spend time with him and all. But other guys from our school laugh at him and make fun of him becuase his best friend is a girl. He says he doesnt mind but i dont want him to be sad becuase of me. Should i stop being friends with him so he can get a guy best friend instead so the guys from our school will stop laugh at him? i just want the best for him
