  • Definitions of man?

I can think of 23 different attributes that when combined in various quantities and proportions can describe all things. They are:

Life, Death, Male, Female, Mind, Body, Ether (soul or spirit), Choice, Divine, Need, Desire, Strength, Weakness, Freedom, Imprisonment, Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Light, Dark, Give, and Take

Can anybody think of any others that describe things and beings, particularly man?

    Thanks

  • Does God have Choice?

I believe that all things, living or not, have choices... except God and here's why:

God is divine. He is all knowning, all seeing, and all powerful. He knows all that will ever be, all that has ever been and all that is. If he were to be showed with a problem that required him to choose, he would aleady know what his choice would be because he already knows what would happen. Does this not make the choice itself irrelevant and meaningless. What is a choice if not to make a decision without knowing all of the consequences?

Do you agree? Is this completely off base?

    Thanks

  • What force is the equal and opposite power to God?

I am spiritual but I disagree with religion because it cannot give me a satisfactory answer to that question. It is obvious to see that nature is symetrical. It is equally obvious to see that there is a balance of forces that is always preserved. Light follows Dark. What is born will die. What is made will be unmade, etc.

Yet, the Judeo-Christain (and Muslim) god seemingly defies this balance of forces. If God is omnipotent, omniscient, and benevolent, then what force opposes God?

I know that it is not Lucifer or Satan because Satan is neither omniscient nor omnipotent. So... fire away.
