Im 14, weight 155 lbs and I am 5'7''. Going into high school i want to lose some weight, because you can clearly see a little bit of stomach fat, love handles, a little bit of man boobs and arm pit fat and pretty big quads.. My diet consists of mainly of home made food and I rarely drink pop. As far as physical activities go, i play tennis once a week for 1 hour, and occasionally help my dad with his job (construction).

Any tips on losing weight? I am planning on joining some sports teams in high school, maybe getting a gym membership and doing gym as one of my classes. My mom says I'll thin out when i grow is that true?

I am a pretty active guy but the weight just wont come of, any tips would help.

Hello i want to get a computer but i cant decide what to get. Here's what i like about both of them:

PC:

-great for gaming

-pc have caught up and surpass Macs in power

-customizable

-my friends have it

Mac:

-i prefer apple (not a fan boy)

-i like OS better

-ready to go out of the box

-i prefer the software( imovie,iphoto,messages etc..)

-all features on one account (apple id)

-cater to the costumers

-no viruses

I know that i seems that i have more reasons for a mac but its still bugging me which one to choose. For the record i want gaming as a secondary feature not really as a primary one. But all my favorite games from my childhood (rayman 3, zoo tycoon 2) are only on pc.

I have always wondered about this, why do i like some brands over others? In general i am a pretty neutral guy i see the good and the bad in brands even the ones i like, but for some reason i always like one brand over the other i try to convince myself that coke and pepsi are the same, but in the end i still prefer coke.

Why do i like nintendo the most, why do i like adidas, why do i like apple, why do i like short sleeves and why do i like canada?

So I started playing the guitar 1 1/2 years ago with my parents friend (he's pretty good) but the catch is we are in a group, so at this current time I know the guitar pretty well ( I learned it fairly quick ) so i feel like moving on to more complex stuff but since the others don't know it as well as me we stay on the simple songs, so i feel like my potential is being held back. Also he isn't really a certified music instructor so i don't know what level i am etc... The songs he picks dont motivate me to practice.

So I'm asking should i change instructors? But i don't want to offend him either... Please help!
