  • If you own a 720p Plasma TV, should you only play 720p movies, or will 1080p/i be the same as a 720?

I am wondering when purchasing Blu-rays, if I should get the 1080 or only get 720 to make the picture the way it should be.

Example: I go out and buy a new Blu-ray, I get a 1080, I bring it home and watch it, of course my Plasma is only 720, so am I just making the picture worse by filling in? If I buy this in 720 instead, would it just give me a better overall quality?

    or

Just buying either the difference will not be noticeable?

Thanks for any info on the subject, just trying to make sure I am not screwing myself out of picture quality and trying to learn something in the process.

  • Thinking of taking Elementary Spanish 1 for a college requirement, is it hard?

So I am needing another humanities requirement, and I have tons of philosophy/ethics/social/ behavioral requirements done already. I am thinking of trying to take a foreign language, which is something I have never done. This is called "Elementary Spanish 1" and is college level (Span 111) and I am skeptical.

It is 5 credit hours and I am in the medical profession. I am taking Pharmacology, Intro to Physiology, and Boi-ethics. I do not want to get into something that will be hard and time consuming. I have read a few reviews, people have said its easy and basic do not sweat while others said they really struggled with it because it was very in-depth and time consuming.

Looking for someone who knows Spanish, or has taken similar type of class and can give me an idea of if this is a good idea or if I should consider something else. Thanks for any and all information posted.

  • Is CoD4 good to play on a PC?

I am curious how it is for multiplayer on a PC. I do not like Consoles, I bought 1 for my son who loves playing CoD and those type of games on PC. I used to play Doom/Unreal/Quake on PC and loved them but have been playing MMORPG's like UO and WoW on PC. Quit WoW about 6 months ago and thinking of giving first person shooters a try again.

I mainly play online, since I love using the mouse for aiming, I hate the console controllers. So, is the PC version good and are there a lot of players in the PC servers compared to that of like Xbox live?

    Thanks for any help.
