  • Is there a way to find out which of my ipod apps added porn to my camera roll?

My 3 year old daughter has been playing several free apps designed for CHILDREN. Several of them allow her to choose a photo from the camera roll to decorate with funny hats and whatever. Today she came to me disgusted that the photo she found on the camera roll was of "a lady with no clothes on." These are supposed to ONLY be photos taken with the ipod or screen shots. Nothing else. I have to assume that one of those FREE APPS FOR CHILDREN placed those images there intentionally..... or maybe she clicked on an ad... Either way that crap shouldn't be accessible by children. Period.

  • Where do I find health insurance for low income families?

My children are on state funded health insurance, but my husband and I are uninsured. He is a full-time student and I work 2 part-time jobs. Neither of my jobs offer me health insurance because the companies are small. I've looked into student health insurance, but it's REALLY expensive. Doesn't Obamacare allow for insurance options for low-income families? Or do we have to wait until he graduates and gets a job to be able to get health insurance???

  • text wrap feature missing in Adobe InDesign CS5?

I've been using this program for a while now and suddenly today the text wrap feature is simply gone. I open the text wrap window and it's just BLANK. I've restarted my computer to see if maybe that would resolve it, but no, the window is still just blank.

Anyone ever experienced this before? Any idea how to get it back?

  • Do you share this opinion?

    Please review:

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_lt_gov_don_t_help_th...

I ask because my family and I recently began receiving food stamps. My husband lost his job in August and is now a full time college student of mechanical engineering. I work as a freelance graphic designer from our home while caring for our three children, but with the slow economy my income is not much right now.

One day my husband will graduate and we will be self sufficient again. And he will also have a higher income then and through his higher taxes, he will contribute back into the system that is supporting us now.

  • Would this work better than simply "spreading the wealth"?

Instead of giving someone a fish to feed them for a day, why not teach them to fish so that they can provide for themselves?

Instead of simply giving tax credit checks to the less fortunate, why not invest that money in job training and vocational programs?

    What do you think?

  • After the election, what will Obama do with all those leftover millions in campaign money?

Does it go to the Democratic National Committee? or does he get to keep it?

  • 1930's Nazi Germany comparable to today's Democratic Agenda?

(NO I am NOT calling Democrats Nazis.)

    1930's Nazi Germany:

    Anti-Christian/Anti-God, Anti-Family teachings

removal of religion as an influence in society

suppression of individual rights (anti-gun laws)

disregard to human life (euthanasia, abortion)

anti-morality teachings (the concept that there is no right or wrong except defined by the government)

government defines moral issues rather than religion (gay marriage)

    nationalized education and health care

By the early 1940's the German government controlled almost ALL aspects of an individual's life.....SOCIALISM.

Does this sound comparable to today's Democratic Agenda? I'm just curious to know people's opinion. (And NO I am NOT calling Democrats Nazis.)

  • How do you feel about Obama's healthcare plan?

He says he will "work" with your employer to cut your insurance premiums. This tells me that he will require/force your employer to pay more of your premiums for you. Knowing my company, it means I would get a pay cut. Small business's can't just pull money out of thin air. I wouldn't come out ahead. I'd be left exactly where I am now.

  • Do all churches have such a difficult time when they build new chapels? Or is it just because we're Mormon?

Right now I drive 20 miles to church which is no big deal, but we already have 3 congregations meeting in the building at different times and the parking lot is no longer big enough.

The Church as looked at property just 3 miles from my home to build another chapel. How exciting?! But already there have been individuals passing out anti-Mormon literature to those living near the potential building site. The property hasn't even been purchased yet.

So do other denominations receive such obstacles when trying to build new chapels, or is it just the Mormons????

  • Are Jehovah's Witnesses offended if referred to as JW's (or Jay Dub's)?

I don't want to offend anyone. So I just want to know.

I am LDS and it is actually slang to be called a Mormon, but we don't mind. We even refer to ourselves as Mormon. No big deal.

  • A question for Ex-Mormons?

I ask this out of sincerity. I mean no offense whatsoever.

What is your religious preference now?

Of the ex-Mormons I know, most are agnostic, some are atheist, and only a very few attend other Christian denominations.

I am wondering if this is true across the board - or just in the people that I know.

    Thanks.

  • JW's: If only a very few people get to go to heaven, where does everyone else go?

I ask this most sincerely. I mean to offense whatsoever.

But where does everyone else go? Do they go to hell? Do they cease to exist? Do they go somewhere like purgatory or something?

God will only choose those for whom He has need of their service to go to heaven. Is that, right?

  • Christians, what do you think of this video?

It uses artwork that is on display to the public in an LDS (Mormon) Temple's visitors center.

  • Why does the US government continue to financially support polygamists even though polygamy is illegal????

Since polygamy is illegal, the additional wives of a polygamist family are considered "single mothers" and get to draw welfare checks. They are unemployed (paying no taxes) with a half dozen or more children and the government continues to support their illegal lifestyle.

And yet I have a friend who found out she was pregnant during a lapse in her and her husband's health insurance. They are law abiding, tax-paying citizens and yet they have to find a way to come up with $10k to pay for their unexpected bundle of joy.

Does this make any sense to anyone????

  • For those who give thanks to God?

I know that I should thank God for my blessings each and every day, but should I specifically thank Him for a particular instance numerous times? Or is a single "thank you" sufficient?

For example, last month a friend of mine did something VERY, VERY nice for me and my family. I have thanked her many times and I have poured out my heart in thanksgiving to the Lord for such a wonderful gift and friend. Should I continue to thank God for that blessing????

I also like to think that I can show thanks for my blessings by sharing them with others, i.e., sharing my time, talents, friendship, etc.

What are your thoughts and beliefs on this subject?

  • The Christian Jesus vs. The Mormon Jesus vs. The Black Jesus?

If Christians (who believe that Jesus was Jewish and fair skinned) do not accept Mormons as also being Christian because they believe in "another Jesus", do they also not accept African American Christians as TRUE Christians if they believe that Jesus was black?

    Just curious.

  • Are people afraid to vote for a Mormon? Or do true conservatives no longer exist?

How is it that Republicans are going to end up nominating McCain with his liberal values? The guy was willing to change parties to be Kerry's running mate.

With Huckabee sweeping the South, is it a matter of religion? Or is the Republican party not what it used to be?
