I need a 2B on my team. Should I make a trade offer for a guy like Altuve?

I'm thinking something like giving up Yu Darvish for Altuve. See the attached screen shot for a quick view at how the league scoring is as of right now.

  • Should I drop Carlos Martinez?

I need to make room for Darvish.

This is a 16 team Head-to-Head league where good pitchers can net you anywhere from negative 15 points to 70 points per outing. My current Team looks like this

    C - Buster Posey

    1B - Paul Goldshmidt

    2B - Joe Panik

    3B - Jose Ramirez

    SS - Jean Segura

OF - Yoenis Cespedes, George Springer, and Jackie Bradley Jr.

Utility - Wil Myers and Mike Napoli

Starting Pitchers - Aaron Nola, Madison Bumgarner, Justin Verlander, Carlos Martinez, James Shields

Relief Pitchers - Hector Neris, Francisco Rodriguez and Kelvin Herrera

    DL - Yu Darvis

and I have Tyler Glasnow stored in a NA spot.

We get points for Holds and Saves in this league so Hector Neris is currently the 3rd best reliever in the league.

  • ASA Slow-Pitch Softball Question?

Today we were having trouble with our outfield and we were playing with only 9 players on the field. The 10th batter was already getting out every time and we were playing a close game. 13-11 we were up. We starting have a lot of errors in the outfield. We were playing the traditional Baseball style defense with 3 outfielders. I finally decided that I would move from 1st Base to the outfield when the Umpire decided to call the play dead because we did not have 4 infielders. Is this written anywhere in the rules that we have to have a 3B, SS, 2B and 1B? Last time I checked it did not state this anywhere in the ASA rule books. Thank you for any help you can provide. I just have a feeling that the Umpire hates us and did not want us to win at all.

  • Which Pitcher should I drop when Mat Latos comes back?

    My Pitchers include:

Chris Sale (Not going to drop)

Hyun-Jin Ryu (Not going to drop)

    Trevor Bauer

    Wade Miley

    Justin Masterson

Wei-Yin Chen (Probably who I will drop)

I also have Aaron Sanchez as a Minor League Keeper.

Jean Machi and Mark Melancon as my relievers.

I have to keep the two relievers and am only allowed to carry 6 starters in a head to head points league.

    Thank you.

  • Military ETS question.?

I am currently in Korea and have 10 months left here but my ETS date is 12 months out. My family is living at my former station in on-post housing. My question is will the Army PCS me again for those final 2 months or can I take Terminal Leave straight from there for those final 2 months and if so how will I clear housing with my family or will they have to clear it? Has anyone been in a situation like this before? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

  • Is Giving up Edward Mujica for Travis Wood a good deal?

I currently have Mujica, Andrew Bailey and Jim Johnson as my relievers but need another quailty starter. Would this be considered giving up too much for him? Currently Wood is outscoring Mujica in my league but Mujica did not start the season as the closer. I fear regression in both players but which one will be the one to keep?

  • Can I get some Fantasy Baseball help?

My current problem on my team is my hitting. I have a bunch of underperformers in the OF. I have Bautista, Hamilton, Votto, Tulowitzki, Rosario, Kipnis, Kemp, Moss, Wright, and Hosmer. I need to upgrade at 2nd Base and my 2nd Utility guy Hosmer I think or upgrade my pitching while they are hot.

Wood, Corbin, Mujica, Guthrie, Weaver, Cingrani, Floyd, Richards, Tepesch, Hanson, McCarthy and Melancon are my pitchers. Not sure where to upgrade. I am probably going to give up on McCarthy if he has another bad outing but I still have hope for him. I know a couple of the guys I have are stop gaps and will need to be fixed soon like Tepesch, Mujica and Cingrani but they may earn permanent spots.

I'm currently 0-3 and think and think my pitching may need help. This is a very pitcher heavy league where the top hitters at the end of the year will be around 800 points and top pitchers will be around 1200 points. What should I do?

  • Who will win the NFL MVP?

Its going to come down to JJ Watt or Adrian Peterson. Both of them can break records this year. Currently their important stats are as follows:

    Peterson

    Yards 1812

    TDs 11

    YPC 6.3

    Receptions 38

    Rec Yards 211

Also he is pretty much the only thing they have on offense.

Quite a year for him after the injury. On pace to break the rushing record.

    Now for JJ Watt.

    Tackles 62

    Assited Tackles 12

19.5 Sacks for a loss of 136 yards. (NFL Leader tied with Aldon Smith) 3 Sacks away from tying the record.

    Forced Fumbles 3

Stuffs 18 for a loss of 45 yards

Passes Defended 15 (record for a defensive lineman, Previous was 11)

The heart and soul of this defense.

  • Which two WR's should I start this week?

    Stevie Johnson vs. Arizonia

    Antonio Brown vs. Tennessee

    Brian Hartline vs. St. Louis

Hartline is the leading scorer this year but the one I trust the least. He just seems to have the best matchup I think.

  • Alfred Morris or Doug Martin?

I have an All-Rookie team in Fantasy Football this year. I attempted to be bold and so far its been good. RGIII and Trent Richardson are doing alright by me but who should my 2nd RB be? Alfred Morris or Doug Martin. Both seem to be very good but Morris in my eyes has a slight edge playing Cincinatti. Thanks for the opinions.

  • Can the White Sox win the Division?

It seems they are going toe to toe with Detroit right now and are capitalizing on Detroits mistakes and losses. Both have good pitchings staffs and have been getting the job done with the bats. I think the series between them will decide the outcome. I think they have 7 games against eachother and the Sox are currently 2.5 games ahead.

  • Will Ian Kennedy ever get back to form?

This year he seems to be the victor of bad luck and has a propensity to give up the long ball. His K rate is still good and record is somewhat decent, at least trying to stay in the win column. I think he will be fine next year and we may have been expecting too much out of him this year after last years supurb season.
