so I asked a question  before on here about a tax return.  my mother always claimed my son for certain reasons but this year I was claiming him but out of habit she accidentally did and people on here told me about an amendment which my mother is going to do but when my girlfriend met with her accountant (after typing in all the info to file her taxes) my gf mentioned the amendment thing  and she said she wouldn't even do that because the irs wouldn't even accept my mothers amendment. I dont know if she speaks the truth or is saying it because that 45 mins she sat typing in information equals to $0 if the filing isn't completed.

if my mother amends it and we claim him what legitimate reason would the IRS have to say no?

 in the last year I had 2 or 3 fraudulent charges for which I was refunded but I haven't used it in a while then I got emails saying theres suspicious activity on my account so I had to change my password. Since then I have been running in circles trying to completely close my account. When i call on the phone the automated system says sorry we can't help you over the phone go  to the online message center and then it hangs up.  When I go online youre chatting talking to an automated system (robot) who says they can't help me and tells me to call customer service. I am getting extremely frustrated  but what I'm wondering is if I change my password and unlink my bank account will it be safe from fraudulent charges?(my paypal account balance is only roughly one dollar)

I own galaxy S9 plus and my girlfriend still has q S6 plus and yet every time I go to an area that has iffy signal hers performs much much better than mine. I will constantly be unable to  use GPS and YouTube in areas where she has no problem and we both have AT&T on the same plan. Can someone explain why this would be and does it say that my phone might have an issue?

I live in philly which requires you to have a license to carry. But lets say your wife calls and says shes at a store parking lot down the street and a guy has her cornered with a knife. so you grab your gun and head up there and police arrive as you have your gun. Would you get a charge for gun possession or would this be extenuating circumstances?

My girlfriend is paying off her student loan but she recently recieved a letter from a different collection agency saying she owes $5k in student loan debts to them(she doesnt know how many loans she took out and from who) and when she searched their number ( 844 225 5501 ) theres hundreds of reports from people saying it's a scam. How can she look into this to either verify  or eliminate this as real debt.....

I was at a gun show and seen that a stand was selling something called a byrna which is a non lethal firearm that uses Co2 and shoots rubber balls for self defense. Does anyone know if it would be illegal to open carry this in Philadelphia??

When I used my glock for the first time today the casings would not eject unless you did so manually(shoot pull the slide back and shoot again) and the casings were a bit deformed after ejecting. I checked the hooked part of the extractor and it seems to be in good shape. Any ideas?

I live in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and my girlfriend of 10 years and I are looking into buying a house but my credit score is subpar(580] and hers is over 700 so my question is can i put it in her name but draw up a contract that the house is legally both of ours or will that contract be worthless in the eyes of the law? i think the interest rate might be lower by being just in her name.
