My name is Richard Hamilton Nattress on by birth certificate. I live in Hamilton Ontario Canada. Hamilton is a loose collection of separate and struggling groups, communities, economies and organizations…that collectively lack communal centering and cohesive direction. Hamilton is well known for corruption, including civic, and organized, crime. A city floundering under dishonest inept governance that teeters upon an eroded and crumbling economic base… I am to see if our species is prepared to acknowledge, expose, and overcome our corruption and decay .........of our own accord or not?
Does any species have the right to destroy this planets host of living things?
Is questioning humans taboo as time runs out for we of earth?
The way we gain living must coincide yet most still disrupt.
Sustaining awareness demands coincidental existence.
There is no plausible deniability of our living done.
Mostly we do not abide even with one another.
No matter what or whom is claimed on high.
We conceive earth as one living organism.
Yet we don't get along with the host.
When evaluation comes to mediate.
There are no golden parachutes.
Humanity fails to be humane.
Civilization has no civility.
Each and all is exposed.
No others to blame.
As time runs out.
Reality sinks in.
6 AnswersAnthropology1 decade agoIf I emulate the likes of Jesus but defy religion am I anti Christ?
Jesus did not start Christianity; it is an effigy, a hollow symbol like all religion.
A humanly conceived pretense held up while emulation of that upon which faiths are claimed remains mostly unseen in many.
Jesus was neither Christian nor accepted as Jew.
Mohammed was not Muslim, Buddha was not Buddhist or accepted by the status quo in their time either.
They stood against false idol, unkept ideal, the worshiping empty image, and sustaining of imbalance and inequity.
Things have been set in motion that cannot be stopped yet most chose this way.
We destroy Eden, this is forbidden of any form of life that is sustained.
We have roughly five years to prepare as systems, infrastructures, economies and empty beliefs collapse.
Those who remain in the rubble beyond have approximately one thousand years to prove if indeed there is any worth in our species, other then the empathy found in so few of our souls.
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWould you listen to a candidate that says…?
This is no longer about placing any religion, politic, lobby, and monetary value or narrowly held wealth before communal wellness, ecological sensitivity, regenerative sustainability and mutual-ness with, within and throughout overall balance.
Would you give consideration to a candidate that said we, as a species, must change our collective ways.
Not just as nations or cultures or complexions because our collective effect… and with few exceptions… is heading us all toward the extinction of each individual.
Because most of us are not taking responsibility for our part in allowing and empowering this destruction.
5 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhat does the rest of the world think of a country?
that can send their young to fight communism... for sixty odd years...and then hires their once arch enemies to make toys for our children, toys that have poisons in them. While 25% of the homeless in the united states are the veterans of these wars and communist China has both the fastest growing economy and is the biggest and fastest growing polluter in the world and I could go on. Oh I forgot about the jobs.
Believe it or not this is a serious and friendly question.

specific religious orders?
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs anyone aware of any writing pertaining to the years between Jesus living and the formation of Catholicism?
For roughly three hundred years peoples followed an example set by a person named Jesus. From what I understand the Roman state then created a religious order. I am not here to argue. I am just curious as to whether there have been any published findings or writings pertaining to this period, aside from or independent of biblical descriptions or those suggested by the church.

13 AnswersLanguages1 decade agoWould Jesus agree with what so many inflict in the name of Christ?
I was born, raised and indoctrinated into a democratic "free" country based upon Christian "values", which claim Jesus as their example. But no matter where born or how indoctrinated I do not believe Jesus or Muhammad or Buddha, or Ghandi or Martin Luther King or Allah, or any God professed would justify our wanton destruction of that from which we, and all life here on earth descended….
It seems to me "they" would all journey together… not wage war over who or what is in charge while literally destroying the very nature of existence here on this tiny planet…no matter how our existence here or our awareness of it happens to occur.
Would they not all support family, community, and communing in balance and not only with each other, or certain categories or complexions or cultures or conditions but within and throughout all depths and dimensions?
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIf a species doesn't coexist in balance, in fact upsets nature itself will it fail to exist?
and do you feel our species is exempt or above caring fully?
3 AnswersGreen Living1 decade agoIs there a collective consciousness... what some might call god?
If so… is there by default, a collective conscientiousness that ultimately sustains … only components that gain their means within and through reciprocating balance?
This is not a spiritual, religious, cultural, political, philosophical or financial question, it is a practical one and those who think this if "freakin dumb" are not paying attention to proper perspective.
10 AnswersSociology1 decade agoAre any of our species proud of ourselves?
Is there a race or country, or category that would be proud of what we collectively render as a species?
Or do we all just expect to be saved or protected or exempt or just free and clear of all responsibility, for what we render here on earth?
5 AnswersSociology1 decade agoIs it presumptuous of whatever lords to expect us to have shown respect for the creation from which we emerge?
No matter our philosophy, spirituality, political viewpoint, geographical location or financial wherewithal? Does our fledgling species test well in the human experiment, on this egg floating in space most of us one day hope to hatch from? Would our deeds speak well of our beings if the sun descended for the final time the seventh day, seventh month, and seventh year?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhen looking in the eyes of another do you realize each awareness comes from the same place?
For this question forget about religion and motive and politics and race and culture etc. Is where we come from mutually common, in essence, yes or no?
No scripture quotes please.
