I'm a 24 year old woman and I have been a strict vegetarian for over 14 years now. In April I decided to transition to veganism for moral/ethical animal welfare reasons.

Since becoming vegan I have noticed a lot of health benefits however lately I'm starting to feel a bit down.

I can't eat anywhere but at home, there are barely any restaurants in Auckland that cater to vegan diets. I've gained weight because I feel so empty and have started a nasty habit of binge/over eating cheap vegan junk food to feel full.

It's a really stressful decision because I'm very conscious of the animal welfare issues involved with the animal production industry. I feel this guilt on my shoulders for even considering becoming a vegetarian again. I just wish there were more places that made vegan food so I didn't have to think about this.

I guess my question is what would you do if you were in my position?

I have a couple of them on my upper thigh- Would fake tan cover them or would it darken the normal skin and accentuate the scars?

I have my end of year uni exams and the stress is making me nauseous all the time. I've constantly got that feeling in the back of my throat like I'm going to throw up, at my first exam I honestly believed I was going to be sick. I have one more exam tomorrow, does anyone know how I can stop feeling like this?

I'm really confused, ive been asked to discuss two links which connect two ecosystems, (I wont go into detail about the question as I know the links) but I am unsure how to discuss facts?

How do you discuss something you already know the facts about? I don't even think I really know what it means to discuss something!

What I have written is more examples and facts about the links? Is that a discussion? or a description?

I really dont want to get marked down because I gave the right answer the wrong way

How to I define an ecological link? Things that one environment shares with another?

If I'm trying to find a link between an island and the marine environment surrounding it, am I just supposed to talk about what they have in common?

So I'm a full time student, five days a week of uni, and on weekends I work from 8-6 Saturday and Sunday. Needless to say I have no life.

I'm on two week mid semester break, and I have four big assignments due the day I return to uni this coming monday. I told my manager I could work an extra day last week, which I did, but now he's signed me up to work a 5 day week this coming week. He knows I dont want to, I've told him I can'y because of my school work. But now he keeps texting me telling me he needs me to. On my contract it says weekend staff. I'm too nervous to let my head manager know because I don't want it to look like I'm telling on my other manager. I'm so stressed out. I can't handle this :(

I've looked online and I just don't understand. For an assignment I've been asked to describe the role of the two types of logic (induction and/or deduction) for our hypothesis. How and what does it mean? The lecturer who was supposed to teach us about this is useless and told us to figure it out.

I officially hate microsoft word more then anything. I've had non stop problems with it since I bought it. Today, the day before the due date of an assignment, this stupid thing keeps telling me to sign in using the associated email, so I do, then it asks for my password, which I do, then it says there is an error and needs to shut down and restart. It's never done this before and I'm freaking out, this is essay is worth 30% of my final grade. Does anyone know what to do?

Is there a phone number I can call or a website I can go to for help ?

I don't want to fail my class because Microsoft refuse to make sure their shit is in order before selling it :(

P.s I got my laptop back from an IT guy who fixed the last word problem three weeks ago, I have no viruses or anything like that,

I'm 22 and I've been working weekends at my new job for four weeks now, from week one another new girl pointed out a 'creepy guy' to watch out for, I met him and he did say a few inappropriate, unfunny jokes, so I just ignored them.

However today what he did made me feel really hurt and embarrassed, so much so I cried while I drove home from work, which I usually would never do.

The staff were told to do a stock take, I was counting on the bottom shelf and my manager was counting on the top, The gross man took a photo and sent it around the whole office, suggesting it looked like I was giving my manager a blowjob. He then showed me the photo while laughing, I told him it wasn't funny. Then for the rest of the evening whenever I coughed (I have a cold) he kept telling me to stop giving so many blow jobs and I wouldn't cough so much.

I don't want to go back to work

I felt a bit funny on Tuesday afternoon, then by 9pm it was clear I was about to get sick. On Wednesday I woke up in horrible pain all over my body, aches, muscle pain and extremely sensitive skin, but most of all the worst headache I've ever had.

It's sunday now and my symptoms feel like they've only gotten worse! I can't miss any more college classes, and I can't even focus when I'm there. I just feel so hopeless and down about all this :(

How can I make this go away quicker? The pain I'm in is terrible and frustrating :(

I have recently come down with the flu, I've taken the day off university because I'm so unwell and don't want to get anyone else sick. I have an assignment due in tomorrow but I can't even look at it for more than 2 minutes without getting frustrated and forgetting what I was writing about. This is so horrible!

Is this normal with the flu? I havent taken the pain killers (codeine) my doctor gave me (for my muscle, joint pain and sensitive/sore skin) because I was afraid I would just fall asleep while trying to do my assignment.

Is there anything I can do to get my focus back? Its due in tomorrow!

Today for some weird reason, I started thinking about having babies, I even found myself looking at baby stuff online. After doing this for a little while I realized what I was doing and was very confused. I'm 22, and still in college, I've always planned on having kids in my late twenties/early thirties. But today I just had this really strong sort of yearning for kids. It freaked me out.

How common is this in women my age?

I still plan on having kids 28-30ish, when I am financially able to provide for a child, but I just thought it was really strange I had this sudden feeling and wondered if it happens to other women.
