  • Does it really matter what causes climate change?

This boggles my mind. Climate change may very well be mostly caused by natural reasons, but shouldn't we try to be more environmentally friendly anyways?

Developing new technologies which pollute less seems like a good idea to me, whether it has anything to do with climate change or not.

Many people criticize the theory that climate change is caused by humans, but what's their view on this?

  • How to calculate reactance from current and voltage?

I thought it would be as simple as X = U/I, but apparently not. I couldn't find the right equation anywhere.

  • How did the Apollo docking tunnel work?

I've been looking for a picture/drawing that would clearly show the docking mechanism and the tunnel between Apollo Command Module and Lunar Module. I just cannot figure out where did they put the tunnel. There's the docking mechanism, but you cannot go trough that.

  • Naming of areas on another celestial bodies?

I know that Moon and Mars have been mapoed really well, and many of the important areas have names, such as Valles Marineris and Olympos Mons.

Have other planets and moons been mapped like that? For example, Venus and Titan.

I found a topographic map of Venus, but the mountains and "seas" had no names.

  • Highest possible orbit around the Earth?

Let's talk about roughly circular orbits. How far from Earth could a spacecraft possibly maintain a stable orbit, without escaping to a Solar orbit?

  • Name of a space movie?

In this movie a crew of astronauts is sent to a long voyage trough the solar system. They land on Mars, Venus, Pluto and various other objects.

It's sort of a fictional documentary. Now, I really cannot remember the name of this movie. Can anyone recall it?

  • Sony Xperia U or Nokia Lumia 800?

I could get both of them for around 200 euros. Xperia seems really impressive, apart from the lack of SD card slot. Lumia should be high-quality, and probably more reliable.

Is WP7 too restricted operating system for a tech geek? I want to fiddle around with different apps and customization. I also want proper smartphone features like multi-tasking and open file system.

  • US Presidential debates - why only Obama and Romney?

I don't live in US but I read that there are two more candidates: Jill Stein and Gary Johnson.

Why there seems to be complete media silence about them? Why they aren't allowed to participate in debates? It seems odd in a democratic country.

Here in Finland we had eight candidates this year and they all participated in debates.

  • Are there any good free web hosting services with password protection?

I'd like to host my website (I already did all HTML files, folders and stuff). I have to protect the site with a password so only certain people can access it. Are there any reliable free services?
