I was doing a questionnaire and came across the allergy question. My heart skipped a beat because I have a peanut allergy, and I read that its a disqualification 99% of the time. Could I get a waiver for this? At most I just get itchy for a couple minutes, not like I break out in hives or get rashes.

When I was in high school I went to my physician trying to get some medicine for allergies and they prescribed me some allergy pills and a quick relief inhaler. I forgot about it when filling out my papers because I never had to use it. Could I get into a lot of trouble for this?

I took it and my scores (for army) were all over 110. I know I did good with the tests that make up the AFQT score, but the last subtests - shop, auto, mechanical comprehensiom, electrical stuff - I knew almost nothing on those and guessed on most of them. I didn't try to study up on them either. I can't tell if this is a good or bad thing, because I know I'll qualify for more jobs, but I don't think I'm actually qualified for them.

My confirmation test is this thursday.

I need advice on getting better at it. In high school I was in ap comp, but some of the words on some practice tests go over my head. 90% of the time they are just words I have never heard of, for example Mulct or Kvetch. Knowing suffixes and prefixes did not help at all when trying to figure out these words. Should I just look for a list of words and try to memorize them?

I wanted to go into the army and become an MP, but a lot of what I've read makes it seem like people hate them. Not that I care what other people think about me, but I do not want to be that person that gives gives anther soldier a ticket for going 1-5 over. The only reason I could think of them doing that is if they had quotas to meet and if thats the case, its not what I want to do.

I just took one for my recruiter and I got 89, but I did have to guess on 3 of them. He said its a good score, but I'm not too sure if thats just him trying to encourage me more.

A couple of Army recruiters came to my home the other day and gave me some info. I'm legitimately interested in joining, but I'm just wondering how far they would go for someone who is willing to join. I'm expecting they'll try to get everything they can out of me just as I will out of the Army, like tuition assistance.

Hypothetical question. Say some person lost their sog and offered a reward for finding and returning it. Theres a situation I was wondering about.

I was watching cops and they stopped a guy on his bike for going across six lanes or something. A couple seconds later a truck hit a fire hydrant and they ditched the bike guy to chase the truck. So what happens to the bike guy? They didn't tell him to stay or leave when they drove off.

So lets say I'm stopped and a sxhool bus pulls up behind me puts the stop signs out. Am I allowed to drive straight forward? What if I was going to make a u-turn? Can I do it but not go past the bus? Or should I just stay put?

I didn't mean to! I was dropping my brother off at his stop which actually has another bus stop for another school right next to him. As soon as I got there to drop him off, the other school bus pulls up behind me. When my brother is off, I made a u-turn and heard a honk. I wondered who was honking at me and why, and as soon as I realized it a few seconds after I thought "OH. I'm sorry!"

What happens now? The car is my dad's, so I don't want to get him in trouble, though I'll deal with the consequences if they get back to me. Also after thinking about it, I'm unclear on whether or not I should have just waited for the bus to have put its signs back up since I was in front of it. I mean if I was going straight and a bus just put it stop signs out behind me, I don't stop, I just keep going straight right? So if I had seen the bus, should I have just stayed put then do the u-turn, or do the u-turn and then stop and not pass the bus?

I asked this and someone said that the solution was to turn re-circulation off. The problem is sometimes this happens even though its off. There have been instances where I've started the car and button for it was lit up when I did not have it on previously. Other times it was on when I turned the heater on even though I did not have it on. It only really bothers me when I have it set to be warmer so my temporary solution is to set it to ac.
