my baby girl is here!!!

i just got my macbook 3 months ago. i turned my head for two seconds came back and my dad messing with his fish tank splashing water all over my macbook! i was pissed!! then trying to fix the situation (but only making it worse) he tried to dry it fast not knowing that his method of drying requires moist air (air compressor). he then proceeded to turn it on over and over again despite me yelling at him not to. god only knows the damage that was done and im praying nothing happened to the hard drive but i have little hope. my question is how much would it cost to repair, i already know that the insurance wont cover stupidity. i just want to know how much?

My husband got injured during his basic training and later was put on profile because of the number of stress fractures in his foot. After 2 months of going in and out of the doctor's office he finally gets the news that they are going to being the Med Board process next tuesday. I hear that this can take anywhere from a month to 2 years. My questions are do i still have insurance while he's processing? Also once i go into labor is there any way he can come down for the birth still or is he stuck there until they kick him out?

My question is can i renew my vows at a Catholic church if i got married at a Presbyterian church?

The reason i ask this is because my husband-to-be is Presbyterian and is in the army. at first we were planning on getting married in court when he got back but then he got a phone call from his pastor telling him he wants to give us a completely free wedding to make the moment special for us considering our circumstances.

My parents on the other hand are dead against it saying i won't be able to have a catholic wedding later and are furious at them for even suggesting it. (religion has always been a touchy subject for both his mom and my mom and i just want to make everyone happy and marry my soldier)

Is this true? Will i be shunned or something? i am going to raise my child catholic and everything just as i was its a given. Its just i really want to acknowledge his religion as well as my own and i think its amazing that his church wants to give us a nice wedding. Any answers will be amazing thank you in advance!!

So my husband graduates BCT from Fort Leonard Wood next week then in january he starts his AIT in Panama City Florida (closer to where i live). He keeps talking about me moving with him to AIT and how he's been told i can be with him. I mean not on base but off base with me if i do move up there.

The reason why he's so persistent is because I give birth to our baby girl in Feb. and he wants to be close to the baby. His AIT is 7 months long. I read somewhere if he does get the privilege to live off base with me it wont be until he has completed 11 weeks of his AIT, then i read several people on here say no he can't or its not worth it and wait. I am so confused, can someone give me information on this subject please?

Okay so i applied for the pregnancy medicaid because i couldn't find any insurance company that'll approve me and cover the pregnancy. This was about 3 months ago. NOW all of a sudden im getting bills from angry doctors and such saying they haven't gotten paid for anything that should've been covered by medicaid a long time ago. (it was within the period i was accepted). Also i just got a phone call from my doctor saying the medicaid is dropping me because i have another insurance. I don't have any other insurance but medicaid. i have nothing. If i did i wouldn't be on medicaid you know? I was wondering what do i do? i've been calling and calling and only get the automated services, i've talked to two people briefly who carted me somewhere else only to get hung up on. Is there a number i can call? Im in Florida by the way. Any help would be greatly appreciated! its kind of urgent i have two doctor's appointments coming up within a week that i can't pay for.

Okay im 25 weeks pregnant and caught my brother's cold. yay for me. I feel the beginning stages. Any good remedies that'll help me? I know tylenol is all i can take but i want to know what can i drink or eat that'll help speed the recovery process?

i just want someone to talk to about the pregnancy. Its nice to talk to those who are going through what i'm going through at the same time or around the same time. Its my first pregnancy and im a bit nervous. How do you feel? What exercises do you do? How often do you feel your baby now?

Both candidates had very clear and different views about the subject. How do you feel about the issue of abortion? Now as everyone can see i clearly chose to keep my baby after i learned about my unplanned pregnancy. However i do feel that its a woman's choice to do what she pleases with her body the government shouldn't decide for us. I think abortion should be acceptable UNTIL it transitions to a fetus. What i'm trying to say is i think it should be acceptable up until a certain period of the pregnancy.

Also what about those who were raped? Should we punish them for something they had no control over? it just isn't fair for them.

One more thing i have noticed, im sure you have all figured that this pregnancy happened before i got married. Everyone gets so angry about the subject and demand a person keep the baby even if they are unwed or unwed and single. Now what bothers me is that these same people who criticized them for even considering abortion are now constantly insulting this person for having this baby out of wedlock. How is this helping this poor girl? To me it seem hypocritical. I was personally insulted on a day to day bases until i finally slipped that ring on my finger just to be openly excited about my pregnancy. I mean we love each other and were already engaged so it didnt bother us to put a rush on the marriage, we both can't wait to start our family. However before we took that step i noticed people have this assumption that its the parents fault or this girl is a tramp when that isnt the case at all. Accidents happen to even the best of us, putting down a person isn't helping the situation because its done it happened. The focus is this baby that she decided to keep, its a blessing not a curse.

So what do you think? These are just my opinions based on what i had to go through. I've seen the best and worst in society. I just want to know where you all stand on the subject and why?

SO mccain brought his A game tonight and started strong but i think he lost it towards the end and obama finished strong. What do you think?

Im just setting the mood to read what everyone thinks about both candidates. Can we please refrain from the whole bashing of the candidate thing and stick to the issues. Its annoying to read "obama a terrorist" or "mccain is mcsame" blah blah. i think its gotten out of hand and i really want to know what the people think about what these people bring to the table instead of what hatred has driven them to believe.

Lets just say im independent and trying to make a decision.

So my fiance is away at basic training working hard so he has the means to support me and our baby (just 4 more months to go! =D) Anyway so every sunday he calls me and uses up all his time just talking to me and seeing how the pregnancy is going and what he's going through. Its amazing and I love hearing his voice. Sundays are our favorite days. I wait all week for that one phone call and a letter from him.

Anyway, his parents are starting to get upset about the fact that any phone calls he does get he calls me instead of them. Should i feel bad? he writes them and they get information that i don't get because we're not married just yet. It just seems like they think im preventing him from talking to them. Today was the only day we were both selfish and didnt want to hang up on each other. (i was always under the impression he has been calling them so in my eyes it was my first offense you know?)

I don't know how to feel about this. I tell his parents everything he tells me. I know it must be hard on his parents but he's a big boy. I think they hate the fact that i'm getting all his attention and information from him and they probably feel that they should be the ones to get that attention not me. Why are they mad at me when its their son's decision to call me instead of them? This is a man i'm willing to spend the rest of my life with and love with all my heart, why this tension if they know that i am willing to love and charish him?

you know its one thing to attack the issues but another to attack people who believe in them. Especially those who attack democrats because of their beliefs. So what if they feel that way? Why insult all democrats? That doesnt matter, what matters is who is better fit to run the country don't hate just the democrats because they're voting for Obama, i've met a number of hardcore republicans who are voting for Obama as well. And vise versa! i've met democrats who are voting for Republicans. Liberals who are voting for Conservative views. Its just a name, something they circled when they registered it doesnt mean they are limited to just their party. Everyone needs to stop the name calling and the hate and start being civil about it all. Stop hating the people, just focus on the issues. This election has gotten so dirty its almost shameful to watch. Is this what we've resorted to?? Name calling and finger pointing? wow aren't we grown up!

This might sound like the stupidest question to ask but i have been writing my man at basic training for about a week and a half now and just noticed the return address on his letters is different by one letter. Instead of PVT (name) its PV2 (name). what does that even mean? i've just been putting PVT thinking that was right then noticed one of the envelopes had something different. i think the only one i messed up on was the last one i sent where i think i just put PV instead of PVT by accident, im pregnant so my mind has been a little out there lately lately. Anyway, just wondering if he'll get my letters or not. Its like an oops my bad. I may just be paranoid but its been a long time i've written letters you know? i only want to keep him up to date on the status of my pregnancy. Any input would be nice thanks. =)

I feel bad because i sent a few letters with the only envelopes i had that just so happened to be blue. Its totally girly and i feel bad. Though i do recall warning him that its the cheesiest stationary and he's going to have to deal with it. And he agreed and said he doesnt care what they say about it.

Im just afraid he wont get the pictures of the ultra sound of our first. I mean he's got originals (the doctor printed doubles for me) Like i really dont care if he doesnt get the other 4 letters i gave him i just want him to read that one that says you are having a baby girl. I'm getting so nervous they either won't give it to him or it'll be gone forever. I'm really new to all this and pretty much in the dark when it comes to that. I just know he's going to get **** for it i just want to make sure he gets to read the letter and see those pictures. And a little knowledge of what im supposed to send and in what.

I was just curious what its like. I'm new to all this and being pregnant doesnt help. my fiance is in basic training right now. When he gets back is when we are getting married. We're hoping sometime down the line i will be able to live with him on base with our child but i dont know how that would work. What's it like? What needs to be done in order to do this? Like i said this isnt going to happen for a while but i just want an idea for the future you know?

so i'm about 4 months pregnant and my boyfriend just got flown out to basic training today. He's on stand by which is nice to know that he'll be here with me when i give birth. My question is how long is he given to stay with me and the baby after the baby is born? I know certain jobs give the husbands/boyfriends a week or two weeks max to spend time with the baby. How long if he's in the army, roughly? im sure its different depending on who's in charge but i just want an idea of what to expect.

so i've been doing some major cleaning around my room and been doing a bit of dusting. i woke up today with my head all stuffed up and just have a really bad head cold. My only concern is this baby. Do you think it caused any long term damages to the baby?

So today i finally got my first blood work done for the pregnancy and its processing for a number of things. I was just wondering how long does it usually take? i'm a tad nervous that something will come back. I mean i'm sure everything is fine but you never know.

Okay so today i gave in. I rarely drink coffee now and i've cut down the soda to at least a half a can a day then drown myself in water. However today i drank perhaps a half cup of coffee and a few sips of a coke. I feel awful and im scared as it is. Will anything happen to my baby?

I am coming up to 16 weeks now and i'm starting to feel bits of pain. Actually its more along the lines of a little needles poking me from inside here and there (nothing horribly painful), not to mention i feel some pain on my ribs. Is this normal? is this the baby moving around? This is my first pregnancy and i am a bit nervous. =)
