I've this friend, she is one of my best friends, for about 5 years now. We're both 17, known each other since primary school. We used to have sleepovers and other things like that all the time, but I guess we just got over that. For the last three years or so, I've feared that her Mum really dislikes me. I'm sort of quiet but I'm ALWAYS polite. I always say my 'please and thank you's' and 'hello's and goodbyes' but her Mum just doesn't like me. It's not that she's said anything, I just get this vibe. We have another best friend who we met once we got to high school and her Mum is so nice to her, they joke around and everything. I honestly don't know what I've done wrong. It's not like I'm a bad influence or anything, we're exactly the same. I avoid going to her house lately because it's just so awkward for me. I just don't get it. This probably sounds ridiculous but I know when I'm not liked.

This is the first time I've had a bracket come off. I've had braces for just over a year. It's the one at the very back, on the bottom row on my left side. I currently have the elastics or rubber bands in, the fallen off bracket doesn't affect how I put the elastics on though. My orthodontists says if anything breaks to just leave it until the next appointment unless it's causing pain or really bothering me. I have an appointment in two weeks. My Mum said she would call the office and ask what to do, but knowing my Mum she probably won't. Should I be worried? Also do they charge extra for replacing brackets?

Myself and my two friends joined a bigger group of friends about five months ago. My friend would always say, "I wish we were in a bigger group." And now we are, but she get's mad at me for talking to them and hanging around them. My other friend and I try SO hard to include her but it's like she purposely tries to un-include herself so she has a reason to be pissed at me. At ME not my other friend who she has been friends with just as long, she get's pissed at me. It's like one of us ALWAYS has to be with her. We can't be talking to our other friends we HAVE to be with her. It's the same when being in a class with her, she get's mad when I talk to other people so if she is away from school one day I have to sit all alone on a table for six. I just can't stand it anymore. If she doesn't feel included it's her own fault. There is SO many opportunities she just doesn't take me to spite me or something. I just don't know what to do anymore.

If myself or one of my friends had a doctors appointment during school or we happen to mention that we went to the doctors, my friend always asks why we went. Is that rude, asking someone why they went to the doctor?

I'm just looking for some opinions, preferably from guys, well, because you would probably know what YOU do best when you're into a girl.

My friends and I became friends with another group of people about five months ago. We've been hanging out with them everyday at school since. We're all 17 turning 18, by the way. After two or three months I started to really like one of the guys in the group. He's just really funny and nice and pretty good looking. He called in sick to work just so he could come to my house one day to hang out, even though there was only four of us there and he knew that there was only going to be that many people. When school got back we had a class together (which I'm not in any more because of other reasons) but I didn't sit with him because he sat with some of his friends that I don't really know. But I was sitting behind him and while I was doing my work or whatever, I could see him out of the corner of my eye looking around the room and every time he did he took a quick look at me. Since I started liking him I've been a lot more shy around in though. Instead of walking back to his locker with his friends from that class he caught up to me and walked with me. And then after I changed out of the class he asked me why I wasn't in class. We had an assembly and he sat next to me while I was sitting with my girl friends instead of sitting next to his guy friends in the row behind us. We exchanged phone numbers and we were spamming each other during school one day. But I don't know, any opinions?

People who think because they don't get something that nobody else should, or for example somebody says, "I don't want to go back to work tomorrow, I want to stay on holidays." so they say, "At least go got holidays!". And they say things like that about everything. I would say they're selfish but that is used really widely. If anybody gets what I mean, is there a name/word for people like that?

I'm an avid T.V series watcher. I just finished my re-watch of Supernatural because I'm an DESPERATE for a new series to watch. It's really difficult to find a series to watch because I've watched so many. I have to resort to re-watching... which you can only do so many times. Except for Lost of course, I could watch that million times. Anyway, I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions? Chances are what you will suggest, I will have already watched, so here's a list.

I have tried watching Dexter and 24 because a lot of people talk about them but, I don't know, they were just boring to me. I also gave Falling Skies a shot but I just couldn't get into it, it was too... 'family viewing', if you get what I mean. I am getting really desperate and now I am on a long school break which makes it even worse. So if anybody could help me, that would be great! Wow this was longer than I thought.

I'm sixteen and I'm on the pill, not for birth control, but for other reasons such as my skin. I was really busy and I forgot to take 2 pills and I woke up two days ago with my period. I still have about a week until I start taking the sugar pills, do I continue taking it as normal?

I want to do nursing at Deakin University. Also, what is the average ATAR score?

I'm 16 years old and my period was due a month ago and I still haven't gotten it. There's no way I couldn't be pregnant because I've never had sex or anything. Is this normal or should I be worried?

I got braces about 4 days ago. I can chew on one of side of mouth without pain but the bottom braces are stopping me from closing my teeth all the way down, if you know what I mean. When I chew my top teeth just hit into them and it really hurts. Will this go away at all?

I got braces about two days ago and before that I had separators in my back teeth for about two weeks so I haven't been able to eat much since then. When will I be able to eat properly, like without it hurting? Also, the braces on my bottom teeth are like stopping me from closing my teeth all the way to chew. When will that stop?

I threw up 3 times last night. The first time was just clear the second time was the pasta I had for dinner and the third time was just clear as well. I've taken gastro stopping pills to stop the vomiting and I haven't thrown up since. Will yoghurt make me vomit? Is there any other foods that I can eat?

The school I go to is horrible. There’s no doubt it’s one of the worst schools in Australia. The bullying there is horrible. (You don’t believe me? Google “Western Heights College”) But everyone goes there because it’s the only school in our area. So all the people I knew from primary school go there. I HATE it so much. Me and the few friends I have aren’t “cool” or “popular” so we get crap for everything we do. They don’t ever actually say anything to our faces, but we know they make fun of us. They come up and talk to us being smart asses while all of their friends are watching and laughing. They never pay any attention to us, and when they do, it’s not to be nice. We’ve never done anything to them. I’d put up with it, if I was actually learning anything. I just feel like I’m learning nothing. My friends feel the same way. Our school has decided to do this “independent learning” crap and telling us to responsible for our own learning. It’s all such bulls**t. Our maths teacher just hands us a booklet and expects us to know everything. Everything else we do in other classes is just repetitive crap. Half the teachers are idiots and only care about getting paid. I’m just sick and tired of all of it. I HATE it SO much. Whenever I think about it, I cry. (I’m in year 9 buy the way) There is a private all girls school in the area. I know a few girls that go there and they all reckon it’s really good. My mum has talked to people whose daughters go there and they think it’s really good to. I really want to move there. The only thing stopping me from moving it that I don’t want to ditch my friends, cause there is only 3 of us, I’m worried that if I move, I’ll regret it, but then I’m even more worried that if I don’t move, I’ll regret it. I don’t know what to do! I’m not asking you to make the decision for me, I just want to know, what would you do? And do you have any advice that might help me?

I need a good list of all the 'classic' horror movies, such as, 'The Shinning' and the original 'Friday The 13th'... Stuff like that. I'm planning on having a classic horror film marathon. And also if they are really old and in black and white, if theres a remake could you please say that too. Thanks heaps.

I have really curly hair and i hate it, it goes all fuzzy on top and its just yuck. I almost look like Hagrad. Any effective ways to straighten hair without heat because I use a straightener all the time and im starting to damage my har, no heat includes hair dryers. If all your going to say is that you like curly hair and you wish you had curly hair and that I should embrace my curls and crap like that dont bother answering because i couldnt care less what you think.

Well my hair is really curly and I hate it. Its doesnt curl even it curls on the bottom and the top just goes all frizzy. Is there any way I am get it to dry straight? Without a hair dryer, because I've tried that before and I end up looking like Hagrad. I dont care if you like curls and you think I should leave it curly because thats not the question I'm asking, so dont bother putting anything if your just going to say that.

I have this freckle thing on my foreheard, its been there my whole life. I wouldnt mind it so much if it looked like a freckle but it doesnt. It sticks out a bit and its always red, it looked like i have this HUGE pimple on my head ALL THE TIME. I hate it so much. I've tried so many toners and stuff to make the redness go away, but nothing works. Make-up doenst cover it properly. And I dont wear make-up to school so its obvious when I have a little bit over the freckle. Im really considering lasrer removal. does it hurt? around how much does it cost? and does it leave any bruises or scars? If so, how long do they take to go away? thanks
