  • Can I convert a Remington Model 7 youth to a full sized rifle?

I have an old Remington Model 7 Youth in 7mm-08. The stock is much too short for me to fire the gun comfortably now, good ammo in that caliber is hard to find, and the barrel is too short for optimal performance for the round.

    1) Is the action on the model 7 the standard Remington 700 short action?

    2) Can I pair the "guts" of the gun with a new stock and barrel made for a Remington 700 short action?

    3) Would it be possible to pair the action with a new barrel chambered for .308, a much more versatile, cheaper, and easier to find round?

  • Christians, if God is all powerful and all loving, why does he allow children and Christians to SUFFER?

Where in the Bible can I find more information on SUFFERING?

If God is all powerful and all loving at the same time, why would he allow a small child suffer horribly? Why do some people get to die instantly, why others have time to suffer and think about their life?

Does God choose who gets to die instantly and who gets to suffer first then die? It's not fair that God let some people die instantly because these people were not given time to think about their lives. Those who suffer first have the benefit of renewing their faith, and receiving salvation.

If He is so powerful........why doesn't he stop a small child from suffering horrendous torture??

I am a Christian and this is a hard question for me...

WHY DOES GOD ALLOW BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO HIS FOLLOWERS...AND HIS INNOCENT CHILDREN?

  • question for officers regarding CCW permit?

I will be getting my ccw permit in a couple of weeks and i had a few questions for officers:

    1) If you were to pull someone over, say for speeding or any other minor offense, and they did have a concealed weapon with proper permit, would you want to be informed, and how would you like to be informed?

    2) when the government website says the "department of public safety" is where i'm supposed to go to pick up the forms for my permit, do they mean the DPS headquarters or can i go to any police station to pick one up?

    3) What do you carry for your off-duty weapon and why? what ammo? (i'm 99% positive what i will be purchasing but i just wanted to get some idea of what law enforcement officers considered adequate to protect their own lives and others)
