So I got a Failure to Appear Notice

(unknowingly received a "unregistered vehicle" ticket; paid it off at DMV to get my registration renewed but, because I never physically had or saw the ticket, I of course didn't know about the court date)

Question:

The form said that $300 would be knocked off the $1,000 bail if I take care of the matter within 10 days. However, the soonest available court date they have is Aug.15th so I booked it.

Now, the office I spoke with said that going to court and showing the judge my registration would knock that fee down much more than just the $300. He said it pretty convincingly as though he says this all the time (I'm sure he does).

Does anyone know what the judge may lower it to and if that fee has to be paid on the DAY OF the court date?

Also, if you have any advice as to what I should do or show the judge, please let me know! :)

So apparently, I went to search "1572" in my email (document form number), and along with the results was an ad.

I'm clicking search MAIL not WEB, but up comes ; "Look at a blank 1572 form on Ask.com"

as though it was an email message.

I am going to edc 2013 in Vegas this year and was wondering if anyone knew any good protein shakes or meal replacements I should consume before entering the 12+ hour event.

I will be eating a hearty meal before leaving the hotel but would like to drink a very filling shake before entering the event. (There will be 1-3 hours between leaving the hotel and actually entering the event because of the lines)

I will also be eating inside, so no worries. I'm just trying to keep the time in which I have to eat the carnival food as long and healthy as possible.

Any ideas?

I woke up this morning on the floor...

My tongue was swollen with pretty deep teeth marks (I have a lisp now) so I obviously bit my tongue. Which leads me to believe that I hit my head.

What's worse is that since I woke up, my head has been hurting really bad, I'm sensitive to light, and I've been really nauseous/woozy/dizzy. I'm at work now and have had to run to the bathroom a couple times because I thought I was going to throw up.

Could this be a concussion or am I just overreacting? What else could it be?

When I open up my web browser, an AVG search engine shows up. It looks Exactly like google's home page for searching. I have never used it so I clicked on the home page button to go to yahoo and instantly a window popped up saying that explorer stopped working. I tried it various times and in all instances the same thing happened.

my other browsers are fine so I went onto google chrome and scanned my computer for viruses and nothing came up. Now i'm on a different computer searching whether or not it can be a virus, but have found nothing about a fake search engine or even a REAL AVG search engine.

What the heck is going on?

This is an office computer so it needs to be fixed ASAP

I'm taking my car in to the ford dealer have the catalytic converter replaced.

Because it's under warranty (my car has under 80,000 miles), I don't have to pay anything.

However,

I was told that to replace that part it may take a few hours. I'm always running around doing something so I will most likely need a loaner/rental. So my question is in two parts,

1) How long does it take to have the converter replaced (just replaced, not looked at, they already did that)?

2) In California, will I be able to get a free loaner/rental from the dealer or will I have to pay some or all?

I've run into a financial dead end at the moment and lucky me, my car now needs fixing.

I don't know anyone who can help me out so I've decided that my best bet would be to get a loan from a bank.

I've been banking with Chase for a little over 3 years and was wondering how exactly I should go about doing this.

The car repairs will run me over $1000. But I would also need another $1000 or so in order to pay off the rest of the car (might as well, car payments are going to my grandmother).

I have a steady job where I've been for a year that brings in about $1200 a month.

If the monthly payments are low enough (under $500) I would have absolutely no problem paying back the loan within a couple of months.

Other than going in or calling and talking to someone at the bank, what else should I know/do?
