  • Tattoo to cover up a surgical scar?

Scar is 5-6 years old (got it in middle school, and I graduated high school a little over a year ago) and I've been trying to think of things to get to cover it up. The only problem is that it's not a normal scar; it's depressed quite a bit so normal cover ups would just look terrible on it. It's shaped like an oval with it being about 3 inches by 1 inch.

Can anyone give me ideas? I'm drawing a blank with what to get.

If I can't come up with a cover-up, I'm thinking of just getting a zipper tattoo around it.

  • What would the price be for a failed suicide attempt?

Obviously hospital bills if you seriously injure yourself, but what if someone was standing in a really tall place (bridge, building, etc) and police manage to talk them down? What would they have to pay?

Like, how much money, therapies, and what else would they have to pay?

  • Is it weird to "like" her?

18 (almost 19) and I've been crushing on my boss at work, who happens to be almost the same age as me, just two weeks older. Is it weird to like her like that? I mean, I feel like it'd be weird if I started talking to her outside of work. Only saw her once outside of work and that was because a bunch of us from work went out to celebrate "being payed." What can I do to try to create a relationship with her, if it is at all advisable?

  • Difference between tickets?

Going to Vans Warped Tour in Orlando Florida later, and a friend had to buy a last minute ticket. While all of us have General Admission - GA3, he has General Admission - GA DOS, which I assume means Day of Show.

    Is there really any difference?

  • How to get a girl to like me?

I don't know how or why I developed such strong feelings for her, but it happened and now I want to take it somewhere. Here's where we stand:

We just recently started talking, although we've know each other for almost a decade (met in elementary school, graduated from high school together a month or so back, started talking a week ago.) In my first conversation with her we talked like people usually do when they start out, and she warned me that she's extremely bad at texting. I didn't pay no mind to it, but now it kinda drives me nuts. When I text her, she either won't reply at all, or take an hour or two between messages. Sometimes she'll be on top of it and text back with speed. I don't text her everyday that way I won't look desperate, although I actually am. We hung out on the Fourth of July at a mutual friends party (although I barely talked to her out of sheer terror), and I invited her to a farewell party for a friend leaving for the Navy, and she agreed to go to that one. So I'll have another shot with flirting with her on Saturday the 13th.

I know I sound pathetic, and in all honesty I am. I'm almost 19. I've only had one girlfriend, and the only reason I asked her out was because of a dumb dare. It's just that it's the same thing every time. Every time I meet a woman and develop feelings for her, the same thing happens. I become obsessed, depressed, and start over-thinking everything. This and my social anxiety usually ruins my chance with a woman, and I feel even worse after. Not the point, and sorry for rambling.

Anywho, how do I get her to like me?

  • What's wrong with me?

I feel as if I have no physical fears (everything my friends fear like spiders, snakes, heights etc I don't), but I have a lot pf psychological fears like being heartbroken and rejection and failure.

Now, I can't say for sure I have no physical fears. I just don't get scared that easily unless I'm dealing with other people.

I know this is a stupid question, but it's a question I feel like I need to ask someone, even if I don't get an answer; I was too afraid to ask friends because I didn't know what they'd think of me for it...

  • Do you need to have any experience prior to beginning an education for engineering?

I'm 18, almost done with my senior year in high school, and am just starting to plan out my future. I'm looking into becoming an engineer (either aerospace or mechanical), but I have no prior experience whatsoever. Do I need any experience to begin an education in the field, or would they teach me from the beginning?

  • WHY IS STEWIE STILL A BABY?

In the early episodes of Family Guy, we met Kevin Swanson and Stewie is still one year old. Then according to the Family Guy plot line Kevin went to Iraq for FIVE YEARS, and he came back to Quohog with Stewie still being ONE. WTF?!

Correct me if I am wrong in any manner, because this is how I understand it.

  • How can I get the girl?

18, senior in high school, and I've fallen really hard for a girl that's in one of my classes. Homecoming is coming up soon, and I asked her to go with me. She said yes. That was a week ago. Since then she's asked how I really feel about her, so I told her that I've fallen really hard for her. She said that we're just friends, and that she wants to get to know me first. That was several days ago. All of her friends are saying that she likes me, but this is what she told me straight up "I think this is going to fast. We barely know each other. Let's take things nice and slow. Homecoming is in a week right? Let's start off by talking on the phone at nights so we can get to know each other. At homecoming we can see if we really connect, and if so we'll start hanging out and keep moving from there." That was yesterday. Today when I saw her I told her I'd call her tonight. Later though stupid me decided to ask what time, and she said she doesn't know, but she'll call me. Well she never did. I feel like I'm trying too hard (to the point where it's hurting me) and that she's not trying at all. I usually don't act like this, but this time is different for some reason. I don't know though...

    What can I do?

  • Would it be alright if I asked her to homecoming like this?

Would it be alright if I brought a pizza to school with the toppings shaped into the phrase, "Homecoming?" I work at Pizza Hut so I think that it would be pretty easy. My only problem is I work weekends so I usually see her at school. I see her to early to call and order a pizza from Pizza Hut, so I plan on making it Sunday and then reheating it in the Culinary oven on Monday morning, right before I see her? Would it be acceptable to ask her to homecoming with a reheated pizza?

  • How to keep a pizza warm?

I work at Pizza Hut, and I attend high school. Our homecoming dance is coming up soon, and I plan on asking a girl to go with me by writing out "Homecoming?" in her favorite toppings on top of a pizza.and bringing it to school. I see her at around 8:30 a.m. (which is before Pizza Hut opens here) so I'm going to make the pizza on Sunday night, and bring it to school Monday. I want it to be warm when I bring it into class. I might be able to reheat it the period before, but it's not a guarantee. If I can, how do I reheat an entire large pizza? If I can't, is there anyway to keep it warm for that class?

  • What should I do when I get friend-zoned?

I just turned 18, and I've never had a girlfriend. Every girl that I have taken an interest in has said I'm just one of their best friends, and they couldn't date a friend like that.Recently I told one of them that if she didn't go out with me then I was going to stop being her friend. She rejected me and said I'm just a friend, so needless to say we aren't friends anymore. I feel like handled that poorly. I don't changing anything about myself, so I probably will get friend-zoned again. What should I do the next time I get pushed into the friend-zone?

  • How do I talk to some girl I don't even know?

Alright, so there's this girl in one of my classes. I'm a senior she's a junior. I think about going up to talk to her before class starts, which is my only opportunity to talk to her one-on-one, but I always start thinking about how annoyed I get when someone I don't really know comes up and tries talking to me. Our homecoming dance is coming up soon and I want to ask her but I gotta become her friend first, right? What do I do so I don't seem like a creep or a pest when I try to talk to her?

  • What kind of feelings does she have for me?

    Short story:

Girl I've known for some time broke up with her boyfriend, started getting depressed, and then started talking to me 3 weeks later. She keeps telling me I've made her feel better, and that she feels a lot better when she talks to me.

    Long Story:

About three years ago I developed a crush for a girl (whom was a very good friend) slightly older than me. She turned me down, and we moved on with our lives. Shortly after that, she got a boyfriend and they were pretty serious for a long time. She eventually moved in with him. After dating for about two years they broke up. About a month or two after their break-up she started talking to me. At first she didn't say anything about the break-up, just that she was really depressed and none of her friends were able to help her. She's been giving me mixed signals since we started talking, and I'm just curious what anyone else's take on this is. These are the kinds of thing's she's been telling me:

"It helps a lot to talk to you. :)"

You actually helped me to not feel so down all the time :) So I'm extremely grateful :) "

"It helps to talk to friends :) and the weird part is it only works with you, guess you just get me haha it doesn't help to talk to my girl friends."

In response to me saying I would be there for her if she ever needed me, she said "Well you're my best friend so I'm sure I'll always need you"

In response to me saying I would pay her to skip work and hang out with me, she said "Stop saying that stuff I want to hang out so don't worry. We will :)))"

"It relaxes me to talk to you"

We've never hung out alone, but we are planning to and this conversation came up eventually

Her - "Do you think you'll be more open when we hang out?"

Me - "I'll definitely be talking a lot more than when our families are together"

Her - "wow, I'm tearing up haha you probably think it's lame"

Me - "It's not lame. Why are you tearing up though?''

Her - "I'm so happy that you're hear to talk to me. You don't know how much you have helped me. :)"

Me - "Awww. I'll always be here for you, and talking to you has made me happier too"

Her - "Yeah and it'll be even better when we start hanging out. You are such a good friend. :) haha it's late and I have work tomorrow. I should probably sleep"

Me - "well then go to sleep silly :p"

Her - "I wanna talk :( But I'll see you tomorrow at my birthday party and I probably need to sleep"

    Another one we had was

Her: I got a 30 minute lunch if you wanna talk

Me: Of course I do ha

    Her: So what's up?

Me: Laying in bed haha How's work so far?

Her: It's good. Just got a text from my ex, so I'm not really happy. I wish I could just erease him from my memory forever ugh

Me: I don't really know what to say about that. If this offends you I sory, but can you just ignore him and maybe try to find someone else?

Her: Yeah duh. I hate his guts and I will never ever ever go back to him. It's just the pain is still there.

Me: I'm sorry. :/ Is there anything I can do to ease that pain?

Her: Just talk to me it helps

Me: I'll always talk to you. I just hate to see friends hurting.

Her: Yeah I mean it's a lot lot better I just wish he'd disappear. I hate hurting, but I justta gotta keep telling myself I didn't deserve to be treated like that.

Me: You didn't deserve it. You deserve someone who'd treat you like a queen haha

Her: Yeah I guess but right now I dont want anyone. I think I just need to take a breath and just focus on God.

Me: That's probably the best thing right now. I'm proud of you haha :)

Her: Thanks. I gotta go back to work. I'll text you after.

Sorry for putting all of that, but it's eating away at me and I am extremely confused. How does she feel about me?

  • how to satisfy my parents?

I got a speeding ticket, and my parents paid for it. To pay them back, I got a job at a local Pizza Hut. They were all happy and giddy when I told them I got my FIRST job. That was 3 weeks ago, and now they're complaining that it's a terrible job and I don't get enough hours (it's slow this time of year, and should get pretty busy in about a month.) They're telling me I need to start looking for another job, which I really do not want to go through that hassle again. It was hard enough to get a job at Pizza Hut. What can I do to get them off of my back, other than looking foor a new job?

One of my female friends got a me a wallet for Christmas. I love the design (it's a wolf) only problem is it's more like a coin pouch. I want to put the design of that onto a blank men's wallet. Are there any places that could do that for me?

  • I need help job hunting?

Over the past year, I've applied to about 30 stores. As of two weeks ago, I've got about 10 applications in. I've been following up on some of them by talking face-to-face with the hiring manager. One of my friends got hired without following up on her application, and that I shouldn't go there until I get an interview.

I guess my main question is how often I should follow up on my applications, and at what frequency?

I'm still in high school, and for the most part they are mall jobs and the occasional restaurant.
