  • "The problem is your attitude about the problem." What movie did Jack Sparrow say this in?

I can't seem to find it an any of them, so if anybody can tell me which on of the pirates movies this quote supposedly comes from that would be incredibly helpful. Even better would be a scene. I hear this line being quoted all the time & yet can't find it anywhere in context.

    Thanks.

  • Sims 3, story progression vs aging?

I am about to get Sims 3, and just read up on story progression & aging.

Now I have a few short questions I would love if someone could answer honestly.

If I'm playing one Sim family with aging on and story progression off, will my other controllable sim families age but not change at all? Like I come back one day later & everything is exactly the same only they are one day older?

Does story progression take place only while you are playing with a family, or all the time even when you have the game paused or in neighborhood view?

  • Nancy Drew, Ghost of Thornton Hall?

    warning: contains SPOILERS

I hate that the ending left some many questions unanswered.

Was Charlotte (the ghost) mad or just sad?

    Who was Clara's father?

Why did Charlotte change her will?

    Was Harper really crazy?

Why did Clara think she'd get thrown out of the family, when according to the family tree her mom was a direct descendant of the bloodline? Her dad's identity doesn't even matter.

What is the point of Wade's character? Is he a good guy or a bad guy?

If you found evidence of any of the answers to any of these questions, please let me know.

    Polite opinions welcome also.

  • Funny persuasive speech topics for college?

I have to give a persuasive speech, and I want to do something funny and out there without being controversial or crude. I have looked at various websites & am not just finding the right thing.

I have been thinking along the lines of "Why you should tell her if her butt looks fat in those jeans" and "why you should believe its not butter" or something like that.

    Suggestions would be appreciated.

  • Anyway to make the whole condom ordeal less awkward?

So I just recently fell off the caboose of the Virginity Train with my boyfriend of 5 years (both 18) and everything went well-ish (well enough for the first time) but the whole protection thing is awkward as poo. I just sort of ignored him taking care of it like I didn't even notice, and that was okay, but I could tell he felt weird. Any suggestions on how to act/say/whatever to make it less awkward? I'm really really shy, and I feel like we could be having sex for a good long time. Please only serious answers. Thank you.

  • Are 2 months worth it? Please help me.?

Simple: This guy and I are both 18. Going to college is 2 months. He's staying at the hometown college and I'm going about 2 hours away to a state university. He will be going to that college next year. We dated for 4 years and then we broke up for 6 months. We have continued to talk and snuggle and everything we always did when we were together the entire 6 months. There is nobody else on either side.

We love each other and would like to get back together, but it seems kinda pointless if we'll be apart in a couple months. I feel like we will part ways then no matter what but we'll still care about each other. It's just a year apart.

He says "I don't want to be heartbroken again."

I say "It'll break if it's a formal relationship or not."

Should I pursue something for these 2 months?

    Please please help.

(I really would be fine doing a sort of long distance thing for a year, but still)

  • Help please, I need serious opinions.?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 5 years. We are both 18, and we haven't had sex. With each other or anybody else. That is our decision so don't give me any crap about it. We do fool around though, and have talked about it. I am on the pill, and we have protection.

Last night I spent the night at his house. He has always expressed his desire to have sex with me and has patiently waited until I was ready. I told him I was ready. He said he was too, and that he very much wanted to, but he was concerned about pregnancy. I totally love him for being concerned about our welfare and pregnancy and the like, but it doesn't make sense.

Do you think he was really concerned about pregnancy or is he just not ready and didn't want to admit it? I think it's a bit of both.

  • Awkward Prom Situation? Suggestions...?

My ex boyfriend and I still have a friendly relationship, and to be honest there are still feelings there. But he's going to prom with another girl as "just friends". So I asked another guy who is nice and said yes and now ex is being all pissy even though he had plenty of time to ask me himself. I made it obvious I wanted to go with him. How did I make it less weird while still maintaining a neutral friendship? (PS We were together for three years and broke up six months ago)

  • What now? Help Please.?

My boyfriend and I (age 19 and 18 respectively) have been together for almost 4 years. We plan on going to the same college and have been (as far as I can tell) been madly in love since forever. Suddenly he breaks things off, saying he just needs space for a while, claiming maybe in college we can try again. He has never done anything to disrespect me.

I still completely love this guy, and I feel he still loves me too. How do I get him back without looking ridiculous? Or should I give him space and wait for him to come back? Move on? Opinions please.

  • What should I say to him?

I'm 18, He's 19. We've been together over 3 years. We're both still virgins. Suddenly he's all, maybe this isn't working, blah blah. If it's about sex it's not like I'm not ready, we just haven't yet. I still love him and he says he still loves me so now i'm worried all the time and our relationship isn't fanstastic anymore. i had no idea anything was wrong. What should i say because i don't want to break up.

  • Cabbage Patch Identity?

When I was 9 months old I was given a cabbage patch kid that I absolutely love. It was my doll growing up. I was looking up her actual name and birthdate for funsies. I found a little cabbage patch tag that said Louella Marina, however the internet just doesn't seem to agree with it. Is there anyway or website I can search this name and find what I need? Please help because it's a personal matter. Thank you so much. (PS I'm 18, but don't judge:)

  • If you watch V, please help?

I really want to know the background of this show without actually watching all the episodes. Please give me a general outline of the tv show, and any personal comments you might have. This isn't a space to just bash the show though. I want to know the main concept with details because no website seems to say anything. Thank you.

  • My boyfriend asked me for condoms?

His family is ultraconservative (he's 17) and his parents aren't about to buy them for him. He also can't just go get some because his older sister works at planned parenthood, and his older brother works at walmart. anyway, my parents are intelligent people and bought me some even though we're not having sex (I'm 16). He knows I have them and he asked me for some and I said why and he said just in case. Is this wierd? I know he's just being a good person and taking care of himself ( and me). Does this mean he want sto have sex, or is it really just in case?

    Please be nice.
