Why is David Bowie not aging?
He seems like he's been stuck in his 30s since the 70s.
4 AnswersCelebrities8 years agoInstead of building the Keystone XL Pipelines, why not build oil refineries in Canada?
I'm genuinely interested in why there needs to be a 7 billion Dollar pipeline from Morgan to Steele City and Cushing, Oklahoma to Texas? Why not build oil refineries in Canada to process the crude oil and then transport/distribute it from there?
Please provide any sources if you can. Thanks in advance.
7 AnswersPolitics9 years agoWhat directs linear DNA to form chromosomes with perfect X shapes with a centromere?
Is there a certain molecule involved that comes out and starts pushing the supercoiled DNA into the X shaped chromosome? I know histones are involved but every single damn time the thing becomes an X or a partial X with a centromere. How does it happen? How the hell does it know to do that so that the spindle fibers can later move it to the sides?
3 AnswersBiology1 decade agoName that movie: Girl attempts to get admission to a school. Has trouble opening door to professor/ teacher's?
The girl is a hair stylist I think. She walks up a set of stairs and hears the students passing by talking about something she doesn't seem to understand. She get's to the teacher or professor's door for an interview but has trouble opening the door. Eventually, she get's in and the prof and her have an interesting discussion. The teacher is a teacher of literature or poetry I think...
I remember there was a line where the prof asks her something and then she's like "is that a bar?" I'm pretty sure it's a movie that came out before 2000.
Thanks in advance for any help.
3 AnswersMovies1 decade agoName this classic movie please?
I think this movie was released in the 1940s. There is an American, who I believe is in France. He has a boat and is staying at some motel. He is later requested to help transport some people across some body of water for which he is compensated. There is a girl who is younger than him and he offers her money so she can go back home. Later somebody gets hurt while on the boat so he is pushed into using his medical skills to help the guy. The injured guys wife shows up who mind you is hot and confronts the American but she mollifies as she sees that her husbands condition is improving. etc etc.

2 AnswersLanguages1 decade agoName of movie where there is a dysfunctional family and the dad has a crush on his daughter's friend?
Daughter likes the boy next door who uses a video camera to record just about everything.
The boy the daughter likes has a dad who is ex military.
At the end of the movie the exmilitary dad thinks his son has some relationship with the dad next door. Eventually the military dad kills the other dad.

I think most of them are African American girls, if that helps.
2 AnswersDancing1 decade agoWhen writing an answer in interval notation do we ever identify the variable we are referring to?
For example if I had 1<x<5 and 2<y<6 as an answer to a question and I had to write it in interval notation how do I identify which variable belongs to which interval notation:
(1,5) and (2,6). Do I write x=(1,5) and y=(2,6) or x:(1,5) & y:(2,6)... Everywhere I've looked it seems that we leave out the variables once we convert to interval notation. Don't we leave out some information though?
