  • Everything I need to know about suspension lifts?

I am turning an older f-150 or f-250 into a mudding truck, one that is street legal and can be used as a daily driver.

I am going to lift it 6-8 inches with a suspension lift. Could someone explain how the truck is actually lifted or give me a good website?

  • Any legitimate arguments against gay marriage?

I have asked this before, but I was wondering if there are any legitimate arguments against gay marriage and gays in general. This must not include general haterid or religion. If anyone has any arguments against it, let me hear it. I have been racking my brains over this for years, and I am still wondering how people can argue against it.

  • How to help my dog whose going blind?

So my dog has cataracts and in the past year they've been getting worse. He doesn't recognize people and cars by sight now. He used to not have a problem with anybody he knew (I live on a farm, he's our guard dog) but now he's growling at everybody he can't recognize immediately by scent. It hasn't been a problem for anyone except people who deliver packages or check the meter, and even they get over it.

I want to know how I can help my dog get though this, because I don't want him to be miserable or scared because he can't see.

  • How do you react to haters?

Well, we all hate haters, that's just the way it is. But there was a time that was only a few months ago, where I took what they said seriously, and got very angry with them. Whether they were online trolls or rude *** people on the road. Either way I'd give them what they wanted and get all riled up and be pissed for the rest of the day. Now I just let it roll off. When theres one, theres a hundred of them. They will always exist and we can't let their existence and prejudices ruin our day/lives/or understanding.

Now, how do you react to haters?

  • How to train an older dog to ride in the car?

I have a large dog, a german shepherd, that's going on five years old. He has ridden in a car pretty much just twice in his entire life. He doesn't like it. How can I train him to tolerate the car?

  • Does anyone fly a rainbow flag?

At my house we recently put up a flag pole with the U.S flag and state flag. It made me wonder, is there anyone here who flies a rainbow flag to show they're proud of being part of the LGBT community?

  • How much space is needed for a 4 ft snake?

I have a tank that I got and I don't know the exact size. I'd say 25-30 gallons. It is a bow front tank, 24 inches in length, 15 inches at widest part, and about 15 inches tall. Is this big enough for a 4 ft snake? If not, than what is the appropriate size?

  • My rat might have vision problems?

I recently (two days ago) bought a male, hairless rat. He is unneutered and has not been checked out by a vet yet. I'm sending him in next week to get neutered and be checked over in general. I can touch him and pick him up, but if I don't make any noise and reach in and touch him, he jumps, but quickly calms down. Is he just still skittish or does he have vision problems? I am taking him to the vet soon.

  • Where is Gay Marriage Legalized?

Which countries have legalized gay marriage? The U.S obviously hasn't, I think Canada has, and so has Switzerland, where else? The reason I ask is because I want to go to college in a foreign country (I'm in the U.S... go figure) and I want to go somewhere that has a strong LGBT community and has generally accepted the concept of gay-ness.

  • At what pressure does water not freeze?

At the bottom of the ocean, water is below freezing down there, but it will not freeze. My science teacher told me that it was because of the pressure of the ocean. My question is, what is the pressure where water will not freeze?

  • Can I change my lip piercing?

So just over four weeks ago I got a lip piercing and my piercer gave me a captive bead ring. That hasn't been sitting well with me because it pops out really easily and it just annoys me. I want to know if I can change it without screwing it up? I have the right ring and I wouldn't leave it out or anything.

  • Gross Stuff in my lip piercing?

So I got my lip pierced yesterday and I got a ring instead of a stud. I'm constantly playing with it, and it has cause it to swell up... a lot. But my question is, there is this gross, yellowish stuff clinging to the ring when I move it in and out. I've been rinsing with mouthwash after every meal and I clean it twice a day, once in the morning and once when I go to bed, with soap. Is this supposed to happen or is it getting infected?

  • Asking this question again?

Okay, I've been at this quest for more than two years. Every now and then I'll ask this question and see what I get.

Can anyone, anyone at all, name one reason not related to religion or stupidness of why gay people can't get married?

You cannot use god as a reason, or 'its wrong'. This all started when I got randomly yelled at by some idiot peers of mine for saying that I wanted to marry a girl when I got older. I asked them for a reason why, and they didn't have a good reason, I asked around, and nobody could think of anything. If so many people are against it, there has to be a reason for that, right?

  • LGBT: Quick, PG halloween costume?

Alright, as many of you know, tomorrow, or today, however you look at it, is halloween. I am a sophmore in highschool and I need to decide on a halloween costume. I recently found out that there will be no blood allowed, so my idea won't work. So I already have two costumes that are 'school appropriate' It is Darth Vader, me being a giant nerd and all that would work out great. That, or a pirate. Not a sexy hooker pirate, just a pirate.

So what do you think I should go as? And just because, what are you going as? And, when is too old to be trick-or-treating?

  • What is A Good Beginner Snake?

I'm looking into buying a baby snake soon and I was curious about my options. What kind of snakes are easy to maintain and take care of, are docile, but still get to a big size? I don't really care about the size thing, but I just think the bigger snakes are really cool.

  • LGBT: What is your religion?

I'm just curious. I myself am an Athiest. My parents are Pagans but I never got into it, and I think that the whole god thing doesn't make a bit of sense to me, so I'll just take living my life and avoiding the 'where did we come from and what is our purpose?' question altogether. Though if there's a scientific explanation that makes sense I'll believe that.

I know that a lot of gay people are Atheist's because they lost faith in their religion when they came out as gay and their religion rejected them for it.

So what is your religion and is there a reason for it?

  • LGBT: Have you ever been told you're going to burn in hell?

I have....a lot. I moved to my current town in seventh grade and about two weeks into the school year I was told - by multiple people while waiting for my bus after school - that I was going to burn in hell for being an atheist. I was like, sure, alright, now leave me alone.

A year and a half later, while in the middle of my freshman year, I came out as bi. That got a few 'burn in hell's from my peers, but I ignored them. I got quite a few from just random people on the street and once had a beer bottle thrown at my head while walking by a busy road holding my friends hand.

I've never allowed insults or threats to hurt me and I can pretty much go on about my day. Have you been told you were going to burn in hell before and how did you react? Did you shrug it off or did you make some sort of retort?

  • Freshwater Aquarium Salt?

I wanted to get a freshwater miniature puffer fish. The description said they like freshwater aquarium salt in their tank, it's like one cup to every five gallons. I was wondering what it did for them and if its safe to use with other fish? I want to get a puffer fish and either some ghost shrimp or pleco. Maybe some other fish at a later date. Would this be safe?

  • Would I have custody?

Right now I am 15 years old and a lesbian and have no desire to even be in a serious relationship right now. But lets say ten years down the line I find the right girl for me and we want to have a kid. She is the one that's pregnant, whether through artificial insemination or by other means. We're not married, but we are living together and there is no one that she wants to call her 'boyfriend' (a guy she wants to raise her child with), would I be able to have legal custody of the child or somehow apply for legal custody? Could my name be put on the birth certificate?

Alright, now say gay marriage was legalized and we had been married when we had the child, would I have legal custody then? Would I could as a parent? Again, I don't plan on having or raising children for at least ten years.

  • LGBT: Why do we need labels?

Even those people that don't like to be labeled, are constantly trying to put people into specific catagories. Gay, lesbian, black, atheist, tall, skinny, bi, white, squat, homely, christian, smart, weird, dorky, the list just goes on and on. I myself am guilty of it. Why do we constantly do this? Why do we separate ourselves because of gender or race or sexual orientation or grades or hobbies, aren't we all human?
