  • Defective Guitar Controller Purchase?

I recently purchased a rock band fender stratocaster guitar controller from ebay (This was my first time using ebay). After connecting the guitar, it will strum down automatically as if someone is continuously holding the strum even if no one is touching the guitar making it impossible to use. Is there anything I can do to either fix it or return it or something? So far I have tried tightening the screws of the microswitch but that didn't work.

  • Why do people need an assault weapon?

I understand having guns, but why an assault weapon? The way they shoot, you can t hunt with it, it s not good for protection. If you just want to collect something like that, why does it need to work? I just don t understand why people need something literally intended to hurt multiple people.

  • What do you think my chances are of getting into grad school?

For most of my undergrad years, I struggled with my disability through changing meds, hospitalization, etc. and now I have a GPA of 3.1 to show for it all. I m worried I won t get into a grad school because of this. I have B s and C s in my field of study and in the electives I took that were quite difficult subject areas such as Calculus 3.

  • Help! My cat is suddenly aggressive towards my dog and people and has never been before.?

My cat and dog have lived together for 3 years and have never had a problem. They usually play together, sleep together, etc. The dog is 3 and the cat is 4. The cat has been neutered ever since he was about 6 months old. Today, the cat was startled by the barking of another dog at our window and the next thing I know he lashed out at our dog and has been hissing and biting me and my family ever since. It's been 7 hours since he was frightened. I don't know what to do. We currently have him kenneled.

  • My dog makes a sucking noise in her sleep.?

My dog often makes a sound that sounds almost exactly like a baby sucking a pacifier. She is a 1 year old collie. Should I be concerned about the suckling noises in her sleep? Should I talk to my vet?

  • Tell me your opinion: Should a dog be considered a service dog based on age?

My dog was already great at basic obedience by 3 months of age and started service dog training at 5 months. She excelled at the training and finished the program in only a few months passing all the exams and requirements before her first birthday. Now she's a year old and some people say she is too young to be considered a service dog because it takes most dogs longer. I want to know other people's opinion on this.

  • I think my service dog is going into heat. What should I do?

My service dog was trained and passed the test earlier than most dogs. She was too young to spay. The vet recommended she go through her first heat to make sure her growth doesn't get stunted and that there would be no problems. However, that puts me in a bit of a problem. How can I take her in public while in heat?

  • How do I get my dog to stop barking when people come in?

I have an 8 month old collie and we live in an apartment building where people are coming in and out all the time. Every time she hears footsteps or the outside door she barks until the noise goes away. This would not be a problem if the noises weren't so frequent. It's starting to become a problem.

  • Why do people engage in fraternity/sorority hazing activities that they don't want to?

I can't understand why people participate in activities that they don't want to participate in just to be in a group. It's not that important. I mean seriously, why would you want to be in a group that doesn't have any respect? If they're hazing you, they don't respect you. Why would you want to join a group like that?

  • What do I hang my dry erase boards with?

I want to hang my dry erase boards in my apartment. I've been using velcro to hang them in my dorm but I'm not allowed to use it in the apartment because it pulls the paint off and destroys the texture of the wall (whatever that means). Does anyone have any idea what else I can use to hang them that won't be destructive to the walls?

  • Housebreaking Help!!!?

My 4 month old puppy will only pee in her dog bed and she poops everywhere. Even if she's in another room she'll run to the dog bed to pee. I take her out regularly but she doesn't do anything and will either just play around or lay on the grass the whole time. How do I get her to potty outside?

  • In Yu Yu Hakusho, what did the demons eat?

I mean Raizen died of starvation from not eating any humans and many times it was stated that demons ate humans but while the barrier was up the demons weren't able to get to the humans so what were they eating? If there was alternative food they could live off of why wasn't Raizen eating it?

  • My dog is afraid of the dark?

Every time I turn off the lights at night for bed she whines. She seems to be afraid of the dark. I put on a night light for her and she'll stop whining and go to sleep but it's so hard for me to sleep with the night light on. Is there anything I can do to get her to sleep in the dark without whining all night? All suggestions are appreciated.

  • My dog is a nail Biter!?

When I bought my dog from the breeder at five months she told me that the dog liked to chew her nails. As she got older the issue got worse and someone mentioned that it could be allergies. I talked to the vet about it and we put her on allergy medicine but nothing seems to be working. People say dogs will bite their paws to scratch but that's not what she's doing. She is actually chewing her nails. At night, I hear her crunching on them. She even does it in her sleep! I noticed she really likes to bite them when she's bored and have nothing to do like when we're in school listening to boring professors. I'm pretty sure the breeder was right and that it's just an addiction but it's gotten out of hand. She will chew her nails until they bleed and leave sores. Is there something I can do to get her to stop doing that to herself?

  • Do dog sneakers stay on the dog's feet well?

Has anyone had any luck with dog shoes? Do they work really well? I have a service dog and she is not being allowed onto the new performance stage without something on her paws. We tried dog socks but they wouldn't stay on her paws. Also I'm thinking shoes might be good for her since I've had to get glass out of her paws twice already.

  • My dog's paws smell HORRIBLE!?

I don't think there's anything wrong with her. She's been to the vet recently and she's very healthy. She just has really bad paw odor lately. She sweats a lot and that's probably the reason for it but what can I do to make her feet not smell so terrible. I've tried washing her feet but that only works for so long. Help please!
