I am not an Atheist. I am spiritual, but I do not follow the garbage that is in the bible. It is old, antiquated and has no place in today's day and age.
Research study states the "Straight" people no longer exist... What do you think?
A recent study published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology undermines long held beliefs about heteronormative sexual orientation.

It is filled with internet trolls, blind religious zealots, those with hate filled diatribe, and ultimately those who are just lost in ignorance who wish nothing more than to make others as ignorant as they. Is it pure boredom, or just a part of me that wants to try and let people see things in a different light.
3 AnswersPolls & Surveys6 years agoThe idea of hell...?
As a young man in a devout Roman Catholic home, I followed suit to the wishes of my parents. Classes, altar boy, parochial school, etc. My father being a biblical scholar/theologian kept me in loads of good academic works to read. To those Priest, monsignors, bishops, nuns, and deacons I asked way too many questions for their liking... But the one thing I sat down and shared with my Monsignor my view point on hell. Which was this. I told him that I did not see eye to eye with the whole Dante's poem "Inferno" that a lot of preachers and church's really took to in describing what hell is like to the masses. Mine was so much simpler in nature, but one that held greater significance in my own opinion. That is this; If you are sent to eternal damnation, you aren't going into some fiery pit of brimstone and torture. No, you are cast out into a space that you are familiar with, but you are completely alone, and worst of all. The connection that you once had to God is severed, so now you can never hear his word or feel his presence. Spending all of eternity in something like that would be far more oppressive, and tormenting than anything that I could imagine. Now of course, I think it is a whole lot of hogwash, but that is what I thought of it. What are your thoughts?
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoWell, I have a huge question for this group... Why do you have crucifixes, portraits etc. in your holy places?
For it states in the Blessing of Obedience found in Leviticus; Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God. So why is it that Christians violate this so outwardly?
