Why do they love to threaten people so much? Do they enjoy the idea of hurting people they don't agree with?

Honestly it reminds me of some Mafia men going to a shop keeper and saying "don't make bad decisions" and then pointing at the burned out shop over the road
You really don't strike me as loving at all, as bad as the other Christians who threaten people with hell if they don't do what they say.
All empty threats mind you, I just find it a very nasty spiteful attitude.
Oh and don't throw scriptures at me, I'm an atheist and a believe a word of that stuff (why would I theres no solid evidence for it)
