So yet again catholic priests have been doing little boys. What is it about catholisism that seems to atract peodophiles?

Genuine question. I wont except that old "one bad apple" defence. Its happened way too many times for it to be a coincidence too.

That said, if we KNOW that there is some kind of correlation between catholic priests and peodophile activity, WHAT are we going to do about it?

If every time you went to walmart you had to worry about your kids, walmart would be investigated at the highest level.

Every new case of abuse at the hands of preists is treated with kid gloves and the organisation that EMPLOYS the priest deals with PAYING people to shut up.....

How can this "religion" be condidered anything other than abuse waiting to happen? and how can parents leave their kids in the "care" of a catholic preist? It must be considered consent.......?

Six years ago, the world changed. I just want to remeber that for a while because, despite my fast held views on organised religion(s) I find myself looking to a higher power for some kind of spiritual comfort. I happen to have had an epiphany....

Who thinks that the war in Iraq is more about christians and muslims?

Its been said its all about oil, and I can understand that rational, but if a christian leader (bush) wants a footing in the middle east, is it not obvious that his religion will play a part in his decision making and maybe be the sole reason for his invasion of iraq in the first instance?

I know 9/11 was the catalyst but for at least 1400 years the fight has been religious and I find it hard to think that someone like Bush could deferentiate.

I live in Indiana and today was the 21st time Ive had godsquad saleman coming to my door and demanding my time and energy is wasted on their blatherings.

I wouldnt buy a magazine from a door to door salesman so why do they think I would get religious all of a sudden?

OK, here's the dream. I am unaware of my suroundings, but in my hands is a large red bell pepper. I look at it for a while then bite into it, crunching it up in a loverly juicy, sweet mouthfull.

Right, I like red peppers, but I dont lust after them....
