audrey
Hello everybody. My name is Audrey. 17, turning 18 in a month. I live in California. I adore music from The Beatles, The Smiths, The Doors, etc. Classic movies are the best. Put on Breakfast at Tiffany's or Roman Holiday and I will sit and watch. Audrey Hepburn is my favorite actress of ALL time! I also like brat pack movies. The Breakfast Club is my favorite. Beaches surround where I live so I like to go when I want to relax but I especially enjoy going up to the mountains and just looking at the beautiful view. Night time is when I love to go out. That's about it. Have a wonderful day.
Girls, Boys, Dating, and Parents?
Backstory: A 20 year old female who obeys her parents and does everything they ask her to do. She choses to ask for permission before going out just out of respect for her parents since she still lives in their home. She has 3 close friends who she sees 1 every 2-3 months, sometimes even longer. Both friends study in college, are responsible, but one has a boyfriend and the other does not.
Now here is the deal: the mother really doesn’t like the daughter going out and the father agrees to let the daughter only with the friend who does not have a boyfriend but not with the friend that does have a boyfriend. According to the father, now that the friend has a boyfriend it means that they will no longer go out without the company of guys and that is not “acceptable”.
I have been trying to find the perfect way to approach this situation without just saying how unfair it is, according to me, but I’d like to see what other people though. Please message/reply your thoughts since I hear these types of stories all the time and it helps to get other peoples input. Thank you!
