  • How would Kathleen and Max rescue their children in time?

Max and Kathleen bring their four children to a dangerous abandoned, derelict and dilapated pier, ignoring the warning sign for their summer vacation in bathing suits. While straying off, the children get into danger and the two try to rescue them in time.

Dillion, age 16: He takes 10 minutes to reach him and 8 minutes to bring him out of the collapsed floorboards.

Cornelia, age 14: She takes 8 minutes to reach her, 5 minutes to remove the guardrail and 6 minutes to untangle her from the wire of the guardrail.

Lincoln, age 12: He takes 3 minutes to reach him and 11 minutes to get him over a wide gap off the column.

Becca, age 10: She takes 4 minutes to free her foot, then 7 minutes to reach her and 11 minutes to jump over the large gaps in the floorboards.

Max and Kathleen have also other problems.

A powerful storm will wreck and destroy the pier, killing the family if they do not make it out within 35 minutes.

Max and Kathleen will take 8 minutes more to arrive to each of the children due to the dangerous hazards of sharp objects and breaking flooboards on their bare feet,

The kids will be hypothermic within 15 minutes due to the rain and cause them to be more precarious to be rescued.

  • Ethical dilemma on triage and rescue of a family in danger?

A rescue team receives a call from a dam worker that a family that went swimming is grave peril because the tourist water spill has been activated and the family ignored the warnings not to swim and the siren. The rescue team authorizes rescue of the family, however there is a danger.

    - The family is being swept away by the massive raging water spill.

    - The water spill is increasing in water torrent level, reaching dangerous levels as a raging flash flood.

    - There is a massive rainstorm far from the river which causes more water to be increased.

    1. James: He is holding onto the ledge, looking helplessly seeing his wife in danger. His grip is faltering and cannot hold on for long.

    2. Amanda: She is holding onto a branch trying to grab her teenage daughter, Cornelia and her younger son, Lincoln from the rapids. The branch will break due to her weight and the currents and it will cause her to be caught in the torrent and drown.

    3. David: The 16-year old is holding onto a rock in the middle of the river, trying to help his sister, Alexia who is stuck. He is at risk slipping from the rock and drowning because he is weak from swimming against the currents for safety

    4. Cornelia: The 13 year old has her leg wedged in a rock and the water level rising. If she cannot be rescued, she will be drowned by the rising water levels.

    5. Lincoln: The 11 year old is being dragged away by the torrential currents, in which he is bobbed up and down, putting in risk of drowning

  • Case of a man under spiritual attack from a call beyond the grave?

Man, 24, married to wife, 21. It all began one day when he received a call without any Caller ID or a phone number. When he responded to the call, he suffered a seizure and fell to the ground. He was sent to the hospital afterwards. He recovered, but mysterious things emerged from him. He acted strangely, suffering cluster migraines, drinking large amounts of water, frequent nosebleeds, nightmares of red and demonic voices and worst symptoms, lapses of blacking out and acting violently with no memory of it.

The woman purchased painkillers and sent the man for psychiatric evaluation, but the psychiatrist could not diagnose his condition. Scarier still, the woman received the same phone calls, every time she asked questions she would receive dead static or obscene and harassing responses from the numberless caller. She was unable to block the calls.

Try to find a solution for this problem and get rid of the calls? I cannot find a way to end this.

  • Exorcising a strong haunting of a family from a legacy of spirits?

A 13 year old boy inherited a legacy from his recently deceased grandfather. It is a small cabinet, upon opening it, the boy found old photographs of his grandparents, two 1930 pennies, a dried rose, a large glass bottle, Ouija board, bullet, a doll made of rag and wood, several iron nails and candles, a incense holder, an engraved ring, runestones, a mirror, a assortment of potions, a basin, a dagger, a phial containing unknown liquid, a figurine, a tome and miscellaneous strange items and objects.

Afterwards, frightening things started to happen, the boy often complained of disturbing nightmares of spirits of black dogs, woman ghosts, spinning shadows and other spirits who demanded to be appeased and served. Hauntings like moving furniture, voices in the night, blackouts, putrid smells that come out of nowhere, nightmares, bleeding walls, apparitions of his grandfather and his spirits and other horrifying experiences.

The family found that the boy's grandfather was a scholar, magician, occultist, mystic, necromancer and a spiritist who summoned spirits, placed curses read tomes of knowledge and other things related to it. The house is trapped in a very strong haunting of spirits, ghosts and demons that are infesting, influencing and latching on the family.

Is there any way to remove a very strong haunting and remove a legacy of spirits inherited from a grandfather? I'm a detective who specializes in supernatural and paranormal cases.

  • Solving a ethical dilemma thought experiment about choices?

A rescue team receives a 911 call from a beach warden about 8 swimsuit-clad kids, aged 10-12, are trapped in mud at seaside mudflats while straying off to go for a swim in the sea and play in the treacherous mudflats. The rescue team authorizes the use of the helicopter to rescue the kids from the mudflats, however there is catch to rescuing them:

    - The tide comes in 30 minutes, to reach the trapped kids require 15 minutes to reach and 15 minutes to return to base.

    - The helicopter can only carry three casualties which means five children will be left, trapped in mud sludge, suffering from hypothermia and drowned when the tide comes.

  • Which world is better, a Tyrannical Utopia or a Hellish Chaos?

Tyrannical Utopia: The strong rule over the weak, ruled by a minority, might makes right, theocratic, often uses love and fear to control the people, slavery runs rampant, the weak are slaves to the strong, militarized police force and etc.

Hellish Chaos: Anarchy and crime runs rampant, there is no free will, everybody now serves the evil inclination with no good inclination, altruism is mandatory, individuality no longer exists, everybody often commits sins and murder each other for reasons, atheism is a common thing and etc.

  • What political party that I am describing?

I have a dream! That one day every person in this nation will control their own destiny. A nation of the truly free. A nation of action, not words, ruled by strength, not committee! Where the law changes to suit the individual, not the other way around. Where power and justice are back where they belong: in the hands of the people! Where every man is free to think - to act - for himself! **** all these limp lawyers and cowardly bureaucrats. Destroy this 24-hour Internet spew of trivia and celebrity bullshit! Fix American pride! Kill the media! ALL OF IT! America is diseased. Rotten to the core. There's no saving it - we need to pull it out by the roots. Wipe the slate clean. BURN IT DOWN! And from the ashes a new America will be born. Evolved, but untamed! The weak will be purged and the strongest will thrive - free to live as they see fit, they'll make America great again! ...In my new America, people will die and kill for what they BELIEVE! Not for money. not for oil! Not for what they're told is right. Every man will be free to fight his own wars!
